I take the 10mg pink Oxycodone and I am on disability for whatever reason DSHS\SSI medical insurance makes me pay 2 out of every 3 months for the 10mg tablets the 3rd month is free Why? The 5 mg tablets are also partially covered only 90 tablets are covered (free). I have a 28 day supply every month #112 if 5mg per my request no more than 4 in 24hr period written on the bottle or #56 10mg with (at my request no more than 2 in 24hr written on bottle.) I was switching back and forth to avoid being charged because without notice they stopped covering the Oxycodone the 1st time I was given my prescription of 112# 5mg they docked my amount to 90 tab because that's all dshs would cover and they refused to give me the remaining 22 because you can't pay cash on a dshs paid script. I wou...

I have a friend that takes 24 pink percocets a day 720 pills a month an her doctor prescribed them to be taken like that can that harm her. ## If this is what her doctor recommended for her, then I'd imagine she must be in some serious debilitating pain without it. However, what really concerns me about this doctor's approach is that each percocet tablet contains a minimum 325mgs of Acetaminophen. At the dosage she's taking in, that's an alarming 7,800mgs of Acetaminophen within 24hrs. Enough to cause some serious liver damage. Her doctor may have ignored the warning label, but it's been clearly stated by the FDA as well as drug manufacturers NOT to exceed 4,000mgs of Acetaminophen within a 24hr period and NOT to exceed 1000mgs in a single dose. These numbers a far b...

Need to order.....ASAP !!! ## @Tivomama, If you have a true legitimate need for this medication, I have to wonder what's holding you back from just going to see a doctor and obtaining a valid prescription? When you try to order meds like this from off the internet you're not guaranteed to get what you pay for anyways, kinda like taking a shot in the dark. Better to play it safe and at least get something for your pain rather than a pill with unknown ingredients (because they don't always use imprints/markings for ID'ing it) or in some cases, nothing at all (because customs got to it first and will likely send you letter in the mail or appear at your door step to confront you about the felony). I've seen it happen to several other users on here who were kind enough to...

my dr. put me on 10 mg. oxycodone and i would like to see if i qualify for it free thru your company, have no Rx coverage and 2 in family income a year is about 22,000 ## Hi JO - please note that this site is informational so I don't think they are involved in helping patients to obtain medication. They do, however, offer a savings card which gives patients a discount at the pharmacy. You might also want to see if you can apply for the manufacturer's patient assistance program (pretty much all of the big manufacturers offer such a program). It looks like Zydus Pharmaceuticals is the company that manufactures the pink NP 12 version of Oxycodone. So can find their contact information on their site: zydususa.com. I hope this info helps! ## I just received this medicine oxycodone 10...

What's the differents between a 10mg oxycodone with the imprint np12 verses k56? ## Hello, Terra! How are you? They've just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics. The one with the NP 12 marking is made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and the other is made by KVK Tech. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have 3 levels of herniated Lower Lumbar discsw which need replacing with prodisc but my insurance doesn't cover it. I was on Morphine for almost a decade and I am in constant pain. I work as much as possible but it is very physical work that I do so I need to get back onto some form of pain treatment which I haven't had in about 1 1/2 years now. I don't get much sleep because I am rolling around in pain constantly so I also am an insomniac as well. I don't seem to be getting help from any doctors anymore and am looking for any hlp I can get. My condition just keeps getting worse and I'd do anything to rid myself of this constant pain & suffering. What other pharmaceuticals make oxycodone 10mg IR besides kvk tech and the ones that have "NP and 12" on the sides. I get headaches as a side effect from these and I'm assuming it's bc of the fillers. I didn't have problems when I used to get 5mg bc there seemed to be more options. I'm thinking I'm going to have to decrease the mg to get a different brand. I don't feel they help at all. Tia ## There are many pharmaceutical companies that make this, far too many to list. The FDA does list headaches as being a possible side effect of Oxycodone, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. May be moving to Florida. Will I have a hard time finding a doctor to keep me on the same pain meds, oxocodone 10mg? I have been on this now for 2 years & my heart and G.I. doctors know I take this prescribed by my primary doctor. I don't want to have to be put through the wringer for I didn't ask for this pain med. My primary changed it to this from norco due to the acetaminophen in my others meds. He stated that with my other meds plus the norco i was getting too much acetaminophen so he started me on the oxycodone. I know it's a strong narcotic but with my huge list of allergies this was what they came up with. I have no problem going to a pain clinic or signing the pain contract, I just don't know where I start looking for the correct doctors I will need. I know ...

My Oxycodone HCL 10mg came in pink pills? Why is that? Most info. say white pills with a different number. Jeff ## There are some 10mg tablets that are pink, the color actually doesn't mean anything. It's the numbers on the tablet that enable you to identify it and confirm what it contains. Some examples of pink 10mg Oxycodone tablets would have the following markings on them: K 56 ETH 461 And there are probably one or two more, but those are just the ones I pulled up with a quick search. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Do either of those match the tablets you have?

I have a pink small pill that says k 57. It looks like the grey k 57 oxycodone. Is it the same drug? I was told it is a 20 mg oxycodone. ## That is a 10 mg Roxy. They are pink. The 20 mg ones are gray. The 15 mg ones are green... Usually a light green. The 30 mg ones are blue. Depending on the maker of each of these they can be different shades of pink, green and blue. There are 5 mg ones that are white also. Hope that helps you out! ## @Samantha, The small round pink pills with K | 56 are generic 10mg Oxycodone HCL (not brand name Roxy). They are made by KVK Tech Inc. and carry a National Drug Code of 10702-056-01. The K | 57 are round gray generic 20mg Oxycodone HCL tablets also made by KVK Tech. Is the pink oxycodone 10mg tab imprint K 56 time released or instant release? ## Hi coolhandbart, How are you? From what I could gather, the round pink oxycodone marked "K 56" is a 10mg INSTANT RELEASE tablet, manufactured by KVK Tech. I've actually seen a few people on here leave terrible complaints about this particular manufacturer not working as well as others, so I'd be curious to know if you've experienced a similar reaction in comparison to any other brands or generics you may have taken? Hope this helps! ## They are absolutely terrible ! I myself have somewhat studied them after receiving them now for the 2nd. month at Walgreens . For a few years I had been receiving Activis Brand and they worked quite well for me. Today when I recieved them for the 2nd. mont...

What excuse can you use to ask the doctor for the pink oxycodone instead of the other ones? ## Hi black, If you can inform the doctor of a legitimate reason as to "why" you would prefer one version over another, then that seems to me like it would be your be your best bet for convincing him/her to change their decision. Usually there are certain inactive ingredients (that may or may not be present in each tablet) that can have an effect on how well your body metabolizes the pill as a whole. And in some cases your body simply responds better to one over the other. Not only that but the addition of Acetaminophen can also lead to liver toxicity with prolonged use. Perhaps this would make for a good debate if he/she questioned you on your reasoning behind wanting to switch tablets. ...

No acetaminophen. ## If you have a tablet that does not have any markings on it, then it is not a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet of any type. They are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Without any markings, it is difficult to determine what they might contain. You can learn more Oxycodone details here. what is stronger, oxycodone 10mg or hydrocodone/acetaminophen10-325 mg? ## From what I could gather, oxycodone is said to be approximately 1.5 times more potent than hydrocodone. So I'd put my bet on the oxycodone being stronger than the vicodin. Although I'd also imagine that its effects on each patient will be largely influenced by individual tolerance, pain threshold, severity of the condition, and other personal factors. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this helps!

I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). What's the difference? Got me taking 1 every 4 to 6 hours and 180 a month. Is that ok? Or should I be worried? ## Hi Todd, Both of these medications are narcotics that are classified as controlled substances. Although they have similar side effects and drug interactions, they are different drugs. Oxycodone is generally considered to be more potent than Hydrocodone (although some people may find Hydrocodone to work better, due to individual differences in how people react to medications). It is also available as a single-ingredient medication or in combination with other active ingredients, ...
