My boyfriend gave me this pink oval pill; he told me to take it to cleanse toxins inside my body. What kind of illness does this pill treat? ## This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Azithromycin, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
