I have a pill here that is pinkish and is stamped with a black label that looks like a backwards G 500 on one side. No other marks. What is it? My friend said she takes them to go to sleep. ## Hi Khrystyna, Unfortunately I haven't come across a pill with that exact imprint. The closest match I can find is Ranexa (500 mg) which is used in the treatment of Angina. It belongs to the drug class "antianginal agents". Common side effects can include: Dizziness, headache, constipation, and nausea. It is a light orange oval pill (appears light pink) with the imprint GSI500 on one side and nothing on the back. Manufacturer: Gilead Sciences National Drug Code (NDC): 61958-1003 Has anyone else seen a pill similar to the one Khrystyna has described?

It is a generic for Lortab among others. (NDC 0603-3888) When taking your action, if you found this on a child or teen, don't forget to make sure they know that not only is this dangerous and addictive, but it is also illegal to have if it isn't prescribed to you, and the police and government are really cracking down. I have read postings on some legal advice boards about youngsters getting caught with just 1 or 2 pills on them, and being arrested and prosecuted. Not worth a criminal record just to get a slight buzz. ## thank yo...

I found one of these and all I could find was the white version online with 5/500 CENTRAL. I know these pills are old but what are they? ## Hi suga, One thing to take into consideration is that drug manufacturers can change the color, shape or appearance of their tablets at their own discretion without any prior notice to the public. So if you did stumble upon a white version of this pill with the same or similar depiction, there's a possibility that the dye was removed...or they may at least be related and are simply a different dosage... Schwarz is the name of the manufacturer who makes a white oblong pill with the word "CENTRAL" on one side and 500 | 5 on the other. Perhaps if you contacted this manufacturer directly, they could give you some additional information on the...
