I have been a chronic low back pain patient for 3 years now and been on the lortab 10/500mg the entire time. Iv been receiving the pink V3600 lortabs, but for the last 3 months my pharmacist told me there was a recall on them. but today he had a shipment of them in, but i was getting the bpue Watson 540 lortabs and in my opinion i do know they are the same thing. but even my pharmacist told me that not only me but lits of pain patients prefer the pink to any other lortab because they seem to take effect faster and last alot longer, i go to a owner operator pharmacy instead of wapgreens because a individual pharmacy gives you the option to pick your preference you may have to pay extra as i have to pay what my inaurance does not. but i would try a individuals or family pharmacy because a...

what are the deffentence in the colors is one stronger then the other some people thimk the pink is better i think white is better so what is the case ## Since I don't know the specific tablets you are talking about, I am really unable to answer your question. The colors don't mean anything and it is the markings on the tablets that would enable use to check them and see if there are any differences. The dosages could be different, or they could be the same and just made by different manufacturers. Can you post back with more information?

I have been on pink tabs (10) for yrs. now with my R.A., they switch me to the white M363 ones...since then, these pills make me throw up or feeling sick while in my system! White Lortab is there any over the counter Meds to help it work? Meds have Been change from pink lortabs, to blue to white. Each time it gets worst. Can I take Tylenol to help, if so how much? ## No, since Lortab already contains Acetaminophen, adding more isn't advisable, because long-term use of high doses has the potential to cause liver damage or failure. i have some lortabs that are pink but dont know if they are 10's or 5's could you help ## It's difficult to say the dosage you have, without knowing the imprint on the tablets, but here are some markings and dosages from some Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone combinations that are pink: 3600 V 500mg/10mg WATSON 3203 325mg/7.5mg WATSON 502 650mg/7.5mg 910 UCB 500mg/10mg Do any of these match the tablets in question?

I was getting the blue Watson Lortab 10/500 till they changed to the white ones, which do not help the pain at all. They did do something to the formula, it's not in my head. Today I found a pharmacy that has got the pink 10/500 made by Qualitist Pharm. which they took of the market back in Jan. Now they are back with 3600 on one side and a V on the other. Does anyone know why Watson generic 10/500mg Lortab is no longer available? I am a chronic pain sufferer and have been on this medication for many years. Now my Pharmacy has changed to a different generic and they do not relieve pain. My Dr. told me to change Pharmacies in order to get the Watson Lortab but other Pharmacies don't carry them either. the answer is completely correct yeaaahhh budddyyyy ## Lortab contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it is a narcotic analgesic and is also available as a generic. That means that there are quite a few manufacturers that make it, in different dosages and the way the pill can look, as well as the markings, will be different for all of them. That also means that I can't possibly list them all on here. Just some examples for the name brand: 5/500 oblong, white with blue specks, marking UCB on one side and 902 on the opposite. 7.5/500 oblong, white with green specks, marking UCB on one side and 903 on the other. 10/500 oblong, pink UCB on one side and 910 on the other. I normally get either blue or pink lortab 10 mg for back pain. Today the pharmacy gave me a white one. It's also a 10 mg, but is not nearly as effective. What is the difference in the different colors? ## Hi Lisa, Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. It's a green and yellow capsule with pink inside. Is it Lortab? Do you know what milligram it is? ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. Since it is available as both a generic and name brand, there are quite a few on the market.
