Was using for very bad migraines, my pa no longer prescribes them to me, I really need them. I'm not addicted, I only take them when needed, so what should I do? I also use them for bad toothaches. ## Hi Shandra, Sorry to hear about your situation with migraines. Seeing as you're no longer being prescribed hydrocodone, my advice would be to try out some other alternatives. According to Dr. Oz, ginger tea, peppermint oil, and capsaicin cream (cayenne pepper) make for excellent migraine remedies. My research also yielded results for black cumin seed oil (nigella sativa) that you can simply apply on the back of your neck, over your eyes and at the hairline for relief. Nigella sativa also doubles as a toothache remedy. Though I'd also encourage you to try clove oil for that. The...

I had been taking a white colored hydrocodone but all of a sudden the pharmacy started giving me pink ones. At first I thought nothing of it but soon realized I was not getting the same results. I talked to my Dr thinking perhaps I needed one stronger but would let her know and watch it for awhile. This month I got the white pills again and after a week I realized these took care of my pain and lasted longer. My question is, what is the ingredient that makes them pink as I'm highly allergic to red dye and am thinking this could be the problem. ## Hello, Jacki! How are you? I am sorry about the problems you've experienced. What are the markings on them? I'm sorry, but a pill cannot be positively identified based on just the color. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone carries the ri...

What is a pink-ish / orange pill with G | 32 on one side, and 500 on the other inscribed on it? Could it be a Hydrocodone tablet? ## Hi Rachael - the tablet you described is Naproxen 500 mg, NOT Hydrocodone. (NDC 68462-190) Naproxen is an NSAID pain reliever, whereas Hydrocodone is an opiate pain reliever - so they are in different classes of meds. Inactive ingredients: - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidone - Magnesium Stearate I hope this helps! ## Is there such a thing for a pink pill and three lines on it? Could it be vicodin 500 or 7.5mg? Please help me. ## Hello, Terry! How are you? Is pink oblong lortab available anywhere? With a prescription, of course. My pharmacy quit carrying them after the recall and they're the ones that helped my pain the best. ## Do you happen to remember who manufactures it, or what the markings are on the tablets you're looking for? Learn more Lortab details here. That information would most likely help you to get more answers, since just saying the color and shape isn't very specific. Your general location would also help, since this site is open to users all over the world, so some available in London aren't going to mean much to you, if you're in LA.

have a pink almost oval pill with M or W on one side, the other side just has a slash down middle, possibly foreign. my mom says it is hydrocodone 10, any idea. ## Hi, Lowwey! Where did you find it? I've done some searching, but haven't found anything that matches this, so far. If it's foreign, that could explain, since most other countries don't have an imprint requirement like the U.S. and Canada. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep looking and post back when I have information for you.

I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ...

pink oval v 3600 ## It hurts to pee, getting a burning sensation. I took two, they were pink OUCH! ## This tablet contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone. This is a very strong, narcotic pain reliever, with high addictive potential. Taking two of these at once is NOT SAFE. As to the burning when you urinate is possibly a urinary infection and this does not contain an antibiotic, so it will not help to get rid of it. I suggest you see a doctor.

When I first started picking up my Lortab 10/500 from my pharmacy, it was in pink tablet form. I asked the pharmacist why it was pink, and was told that it was a generic brand. I was also told that it was not as "effective" (potent-wise) as some other colors 10/500 came in. I asked which color had the most effectiveness for overall pain and was told the purple tablets were. After switching to the purple Lortab 10/500 tablets, I noticed a considerable difference in pain relief and duration. Actually, they look more like a bluish-purple. ## Hi Herman, It is true that generic brands are not as effective as brand name medications, generic medications are allowed (by the FDA) to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactiv...

Is this pink pill with 3600 on one side and V on the other a Hydrocodone pill? ## The drug you got was a generic lortab. Lortabs are like vicodin but a lil bit stronger. The pink spots is/are the opiates. The pink is the refined opium (plain & simple truth)!! Raw opium sap or better known as latex is red and turns to a very dark red to black in the presence of oxygen... ## I'm sorry, but that isn't true. They are just a coloring agent that the manufacturer chose to use to distinguish their pills from the others on the market. The FDA classifies this mediation as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is no actual opium in this medication, refined or otherwise. Is there anything I can help with?

My son came home with 3 clear capsules with pink powder in them. No markings. I busted him, and he said he was told it was hydrocodone 200 mil. Have you heard of this? ## Well, it wouldn't be an mil measurement, that's a liquid measurement, not a dry one. It is, however, possible for them to come like this if it was something that a doctor prescribed and was specially prepared by a compounding pharmacy. 200mgs of Hydrocodone, though, is not something normally used. They also usually contain Acetaminophen, with the Hydrocodone. The only way to really see what this is, since there are no markings, would be to have it lab tested somewhere. If it were me, I'd just make sure to properly dispose of them. Under federal guidelines, you should do so by dissolving them in some undesir...
