how can I tell what the number of mg's are in a pink and purple capsule of amoxicillin with the number A45 on each capsule ## I just received this medication from my pharmacist and it is supposed to be 500 mg of amoxicillin, and manufactured by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals. But, I have not been able to verify with an image for this capsule anywhere. ## This capsule is now manufactured by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
