this is a capsule, dark blue on one half and pink on the other. On the oink side is says in large print A 45 ## I can't find a listing for this, was it found in the US or somewhere else? ## A states "it is Amoxicillin 500mg made by Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals". Was this obtained outside the U.S. ?

My husband is taking pink and blue 45A. He says there is a strong garlic taste. Is this normal? ## This contains 500mgs of Amoxicillin and I've never noted it as being like garlic, but the taste can definitely be unpleasant. Really, if he's tasting them, then it's likely that he isn't taking them properly. Hi, I was prescribed pink and blue 45A by my doctor and this is my third time using them and all three times they have tasted like vomit. Is anyone else having that problem, or just me? ## Hello, Madelyn! How are you? Most medications taste awful, unless they are specially formulation to have actual flavor, according to the FDA. In actuality, you shouldn't be letting them sit in your mouth long enough to taste them, you should put it as far back in your mouth as possible, just short of gagging and swallow it immediately with a full glass of water. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
