I had a bad chest cough and was prescribed pinamox 500mgs. but when I dispensed the script, I discovered that the caps I received were clonamox. this worried me. but I now realise that they have the same ingredients. just wondering why I wasn't given pinamox at the start. my coughs got much better by the way.cheers all. ## They are definitely not same as I can take clonomox cant take pinamox

Hi am Geoffrey from Kenya. In 2010 I slept with a lady and after 1ek I started urinating frequently and a month I was urinating painful with itching in private parts. I went on medication but never solved problem. Other told me syphilis gonorhear but never worked. I have used amoxilin, fluconazal doxycline no cure!! What is going on with me? Its been 5 years now. Hi, my 10 month old son has an ear infection and was given Pinamox. He also has a chest infection, alot of phelgm on the chest and a hard cough. Will the Pinamox treat his chest as well? ## Have you consulted his doctor about it? Hi, just wondered if it's safe to take alcohol with "pinamox caps 500mg amoxicillin".. I assumed it wasn't until I looked at the other medicine (a cough bottle) that I was prescribed by the same doctor.. It has ethanol (alcohol) in it. I finish big exams soon and have been looking forward to a cocktail party for ages.. If it's dangerous to take the course of tablets with alcohol then I'm considering not taking the tablets (three a day) for the day of the celebrations. my 11 month has croup and was prescribed steriods and is no better after 4 days , is is safe to give her pinamox antibiotic ## Piramox contains Amoxicillin, which is an antbiotic and will only help if her problem is caused by an infection. I would assume it isn't and that is why her doctor didn't prescribe antibiotics in the first place. The steroid is not an instant solution and it will take time to work, 4 days is not enough, you should continue the course of treatment for the time period that your doctor suggested. As for many years after writing various articles I found that Amoxicillin really solved peoples problems to cure their infections that are caused by bacteria's. I believe i may be coming down with strep throat. My kids are all finishing up their antibiotics for it now. I have an old antibiotic script for amox from 12/15..
