name of sleeping tablets starting with A ## Hi helen, Ambien is the most common brand name I can think of in this drug category. In clinical trials Ambien has not adequately demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining sleep (unless delivered in a controlled-release form); however, it is effective in initiating sleep. Another brand name is Ativan, which is more geared towards relaxing and relieving anxiety. Is there a specific name you're looking for? ## Sleeping pill dene ke bad kitna der tak eska aser rahata hai......plz tell me

What diet pill comes in a white and yellow box and starts with the letter l? Or a white and orange box that it starts with a l? ## Hello Cheri, I would like to assist you but given the number of diet pills available and how quickly brands change their image makes this incredibly difficult with only knowing the first letter. Do you have any information on the diet pill such as what ingredients it might have contained. Was this diet pill supposed to increase metabolism or curb your appetite. These sort of things would really help me narrow down the specific one you are looking for, or at least help me get set in the right direction.

Used it when I had my total knee. Two syllables, I think. Can't take most pain meds, so need to find out. ## I did see your other post and I've done more searching, but I am not finding anything that starts with a T and just has 2 syllables. I know I mentioned Tramadol before, so perhaps you had it prescribed under the brand name, which is Ultram? It's also available with Acetaminophen as Ultracet. Otherwise, some other 2 syllable choices are: Lodine, Mobic, Lorcet, Lortab, Norco and Motrin. Have you talked to your doctor, yet? I'm sure they'd have record of what they prescribed.

I was started on Suboxone strips and paid out of pocket first week. Found out that ins will pay for Suboxone but I have to start with the pills and a pre-auth. So I pick up the generic pills, same dose as strips were and they aren't nearly as strong... Feeling a lot of cravings and w/d's and needed to take more to keep them at bay. The only way ins will pay for strips is if I have some sort of problem taking the pills.... What can I say to the Dr so he will switch my pre-auth to the strips? Called pharmacy and he said if you go from strips to pills you may need to increase your dose by 35% to get the results as you got from strips... Can anyone please help? ## Hi. The answer to ur question: what kind of insurance do u have? I know most ins including Medicaid will pay for strips ...

Doing a lab for highschool about recombinant DNA, learning about taking the insulin gene from human DNA and inserting it into bacteria plasmids to mass-produce insulin. The plasmid had a gene for antibiotic resistance, there were three different types of antibiotics listed and the plasmid we were working with was resistant to one starting with a k, but I can't find it's name. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Was it possibly Keflex? It's a name brand for the antibiotic Cephalexin. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allerigc skin rash and diarrhea. ## Yes, thank you so much! That was one of the three.

eye drops that start with the letter d... two words second word start with K ## Hi terri, I've checked out several lists of various eye drop brands, and have yet to come across one that fits your description exactly. Dexamethasone (Ophthalmic) is the closest match I'm finding. This happens to be an ophthalmic corticosteroid, prescribed for swelling, itching, redness and irritation of the eyes. You can read more about it here: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682869.html Other brand names I found include: Dexair, Dexacidin, and Dexasporin Hopefully this helps to narrow down your search! Please post back if you happen to have any more information to add.

I was in the hospital and they gave me an injection for pain. It started with the letter g. Any ideas? ## Could it be gabapentin? Gabapentin is frequently prescribed for nerve pain, although I'm not exactly certain whether it's currently available in an intravenous dosage form. I did happen to find a clinical study on FDA.gov discussing gabapentin being taken via IV administration at the bottom of page 2 in the following link: accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2009/020235s041.pdf Hopefully this will at least help narrow potential suspects as to what medication you're searching for. I'll be sure to post back if I can think of any other prospects that start with a 'g'. Gabapentin just happens to be one of the more common brand names on the market. ## Thanks,...

I have had these Percocet 10-325 pills with the U 17 on them and they are the worse pills you might as well take Tylenol they are so weak I had the worse month of my life taking these and I'm not crazy I have had a few friends that take Perks for there pain and they got the same ones this month and had the same complaints as me !! ## Weird. I started them yesterday, very reluctantly and I'm finding they may actually be better. I have some variables to work out--such as if I took it with or near other stuff--but yeah, I wouldn't say they suck but I'm sure watching. I'll be doing some real subjective research over the next couple of days. I want to know all painkillers that are opiates that start with the letter O. I would like to know this because I think my doctor ordered a painkiller that I'm allergic to and it starts with an O and I'm not sure what it is... ## Does Opana a have generic? I was taking hydromorphone but I was getting headaches. What do you recommend? ## @Dutch - off the top of my head (listing both brand and generic names) ... Opana, Oxymorphone, Oxycodone, OxyContin. Do any of those ring a bell? You should check out the category page on Pain Relief, then scroll down past the list of discussions to where it says "Pain Relief Medications", and that list is in alphabetical order so you can just scroll down to drugs starting with "O". Hope this helps!

I was on brand Lexapro for about eight years with great success. My pharmacy switched me to generic and I was happy to be saving the money, but within a few days, I was nauseous and dizzy, having nightmares and hot flashes, and suffering from depression again. It took me about a month to realize the cause was the generic, and I decided to pay the difference to get the brand. When I asked the pharmacist if this was common, she said those who start on the generic seem to do well, but those who switch from brand seem to have difficulties. Not too long after switching back, I was doing well again. In answer to a few other people who posted, you can not quit lexapro cold turkey, you must wean yourself off!!!! I stopped taking it for awhile by tapering off and had no issues, but after my depr...

My sister was on Methotrexate Capsules for years, until her Rhumy took her off without reason and she started regressing. She changed Doctors and now they are giving her little tablets that are working against her, and have put her in the chronic pain she started with many years ago. At that time her hands were all screwed up and in terrible pain, but with the capsules, her hands became normal and pain free for years. Now reverting back to the old cycle of crippled hands and feet, and chronic pain! She asked the druggest about her capsules and they said they are not making them anymore! She just turned 89 years old. The same thing that was done to me with my brand name Vicodin, taking 240 pills a month, 8 a day, (2-4 times a day). I am 86 in May and finally got so angry to being treated...

I was taking a birthcontrol , n then I switched to another pill brand before my period started . N now I have all the pains like I'm going to start but nothing. So I'm continuing to take the pill n also saw on line that taking 3000mgs of vitamin -c will bring down your period . So I'm trying that now I'm on day 2 of taking vitamin -c . I took a test n I'm not pregnant . Do you think it's because I switched brands at the wrong time. I've never experienced this before so I'm freaking out . ## Hello, Garcia! How are you? First, that is just a myth about vitamin C, it will not actually bring on your period. As to the oral contraceptives, yes. It is most likely due to your switching, especially if the hormone levels in the new one are different than those in t...

Am using oralcon for the first time. I just wanted to know when will I have my periods because I am now taking the red pill, am on the 3rd pill, but still nothing. Am now worried, can I be pregnant? ## Usually when you first start taking birth control, it's contraceptive effects generally don't take full effect until the first couple weeks or month after you begin treatment. Although I think this long time frame/waiting period may vary according to the brand. I'm not sure if your doctor or gynecologist also mentioned this, but irregular periods and missed periods are common side effects associated with these types of medications. This is largely due to the fluctuation in hormone levels, which ultimately have a direct impact on your menstrual cycles. Have you taken a pregnanc...
