I picked up my medication at my pharmacy CVS and it was a333 when I took the first pill I started felling cramps and headache... I called the pharmacy they offered no help so I went back to my doctor and got another script .I can't tell you how awful I felt like I was some kind of drug freak or something I had to have my medicine flushed once before because I was sick the entire time I was taking it...at this point no matter what happens with my medication I'm sticking with it good or bad for fear she won't see me anymore..its not right to feel like you may be labeled a drug freak because you don't want to suffer because these drug companies don't do right by the people they are supposed to help. Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy.

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. I have had chronic lower back pain for over 10yrs. I was assaulted in 2014. Suffering from chronic neck & shoulder pain, taking tablets imprinted with '230' but they don't last. Someone told me the 'a333' tablets are better. Are they better? ## Both of these tablets are listed as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so they are the same. They did not discountuine he WATSON brand that was what the pharmacy was telling you so they did not have to explain why they did not have the New Abuse Pills made, There was a contract made the Actavis would be the ones to do the pills and that is why they are filling all Pain meds. This is all about our government trying to control our life. We have no freedom anymore. We can't even have freedom of Pain. It is all crap. Ok so i was recently prescribed this new equivalent to my previous prescription for watson. The scoring on this new pill is a333 and it seems to work well but my stomach cant handle the cramping. My pcp is going to write for me a new prescription for something different but until then im stuck with these cheap nockoffs. I too was recently switched to generic A333 made by Pharma due to shortages. I have experienced upset stomach, indigestion, indigestion, etc...likewise, my pharmacy was CVS. I am NOT getting as much pain relief either & the pain comes back in less than 2 hrs, where as others can last up to 6. Where can I file a complaint? I went to CVS got mine filled on Feb 18 2014 it was also the Actavis brand Oxycodone and I have taking different brands before and never had this feeling. I am having really high blood pressure, chest pain, my left arms feels asleep, my left leg as well,plus I get this pain down my left leg. I get them filled on the 18th and only takin 11 of them, even though they are prescribed 4 x day. I took 1 Tues morning at 11 am and by 3pm all them signs above came on, it lasted till wed about 6 to 7 pm. everything went back to normal. My blood pressure was fine, and non of the signs about. I found that the activis a333 has a laundry detergent taste,(the powdered kind),,and it crumbles very easy in my hand and in my mouth...regular Percocets or generic or vicoden are crunchy and are hard to snap if you bite them...I could understand them being soft, even though I never had a soft pill like that, but my question is why does it taste like laundry detergent ## How do you know what detergent tastes like?? I filled my Rx at a different pharmacy to save time and received this version of Percocet a333. It's terrible! The regular ones I receive (by a completely different manufacturer than this or Watson) work pretty well. My issue is just worsening so They just aren't effective. Then when I opened this bottle, noticed the texture was different. It was early morning and dark so I took my normal 1/2 so I can go back to sleep. Felt no relief like I normally feel enough to sleep comfortably. Had to double check to make sure I didn't put Tylenol in one of the bottles for travel. Took the other half. ok, this is the real deal regarding the generic 10mg oxycodone a333 made by Actavis - actually Actavis acquired Watson - Watson brand product was discontinued Jan. 2014 - it is hard to find another generic - my opinion is that Actavis undercut prices of other generics, so all the pharmacies are buying it - i totally agree that there is a huge difference in pain relief - Actavis is now a huge global pharmaceutical presence, second or third to, well, I can't remember the other companies, you could look it up - they are using Purdue Pharma's anti-abuse formula or whatever you want to call it - they are moving their corporate headquarters to Ireland to take advantage of the lower tax rates - I spoke to them a long time (2 hours), and also wrote the FDA regarding their product - the ...

Have been on chronic meds for 25 years and never had this happen. They changed my generic Watson to Actavis A333. I didn't notice till I got home. At first I thought they were the wrong pill as I felt NOTHING. Then became nauseous and gaseous. Called Walgren's ...."Sorry we did notice you were on another generic and we can't do anything". Then they started playing the "abuse" card. Now I have called Actativs pharmacy and they admitted they had been bombarded with people who were "have an issue" with the pill. I am unable to sleep. I writhe in pain. I can not drive due to the lack of sleep. I advise everyone to notate every side effect and setback this "generic abuse" test we have been FORCED to take is having on our body. I, too, had to switch to CVS Jan. 1, 2014, because I now have Obamacare, Value Silver Plan & in the place I live, basically one huge Insurance Co....the only one available. I live in a red state. Walgreens, who I used for a decade, did not sign a contract with ins. Co. For the Value Silver Plan. Everyone on this plan had to switch to CVS because this is what our ins. co. told us to do!
