fentanyl patches and problems with insurance and pharmacies
I have been on fentanyl / Duragesic since 2005 when i was not longer able to take oral opioids as my stomach lining was eroding since then the first couple years while i was continuing care under one pain management office i had little problem filling them other than then not having them in stock and i had to wait one day. Since i move to PA and then back to FL and now again back to PA i have been having non stop issues between the medicare insurance and prior authorizations some periods every month and now my pharmacist tells me that the script was written out to be taken orally .. has anyone else had issues with just about every darn excuse they can give you sometimes having to go through withdrawal for weeks on end? I am just wondering and if so who can you turn to in order to get re... ...

i have a bladder infection only pills here is ilps can they help
I have a bladder infection only pills I have here are LPS can it help ## Hi Irene, Sorry to hear about your infection, but I actually wasn't able to find any medication by the name of "LPS". Was this meant to be an abbreviation for something else? Depending on the severity of the infection, it sounds like your best bet would be to ask your doctor for a prescription-based antibiotic such as Nitrofurantoin, which is primarily used for treating bladder and urinary tract infections. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Nitrofurantoin Details I hope this helps! ...

can i get into a methadone treatment center with it in my system
I was in a methadone treatment center. I was being lowered off methadone and I thought I was doing good, but I was sick and going through withdraws and I got methadone off the street and now I am sick if I do not have it. Can I get back into a treatment center again? I can not afford to buy it anymore, and I do not want to be sick. where can I go to get help? ## Dear Nickie, I don't see why not. Especially being u were already in a clinic and do have methadone in your system. U may have 2 do paperwork again 2 get back in. The only way a clinic can refuse u is if u have no drugs in your system. You must come up positive 4 opiates. Good Luck! ...

Taper Down From 50mcg Fentanyl Patch To 25mcg Withdrawal Help
So, I'm in a big big dilemma. For my own security and well being, I MUST come off my Fentanyl transdermal patch. I've Been using 50mcg/72 hours for about 6 mths straight. I have 3 of the 50mcg patches left and 4 of the 25mcg to help me taper off. I will no longer be using them anymore, just Norcos or oxymorphone IR. I'm absolutely terrified of withdrawals. My doc who put me on them has No idea what it's like to come off like this. Can someone please tell me if and how bad the withdrawals from going down that much will affect me? I can not take any benzos (Ativan, xanax, etc) I have come off the oxymorph about 75% in the last 2 mths. I'm literally freaking out. Again, I'm terrified but HAVE to do this for at least another 7 months. Any help would be appreciated. O... ...

Ilvitrim can be used For prevention of being affected with hiv
Can I take ilvitrim if I slept with a hiv positive person so as I can not be infected ## Ilvitrim contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim. It is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. Although the therapeutic regimen of patients with HIV infection, frequently includes trimethoprim + sulfamethoxazole", it is my understanding that the risk of serious side effects vs the potential benefits of the drug, can make it a difficult option for short and/or long term use. Furthermore, I do wonder what benefits, if any, they might be receiving from an antibiotic, since antibiotics in and of themselves cannot be used to prevent or cure viral infections such as HIV. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim... ...
