Can anyone possibly tell me what a white oblong with PX on one side may be? ## Hello, Kristi! How are you? The PX logo is used by Glenmark Generics on their Pramipexole tablets and I think the one you're asking about probably also has a number 1 on the other half of the tablet. They list it as containing 0.25mgs of Pramipexole, it is a medication that is most commonly used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, hallucinations, dizziness, confusion and weakness. This medication is also occasionally used to treat RLS. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi. I have these and they are paracetamol. Best check yours with pharmacist though ## What is rls which you say it's is often used to treat

I take Lipitor (now Atorvastatin generic) and Atenelol on a daily basis. I always take pills out of PX. bottles and put into special container away from children. As there are many generics around, I have mixed up my pills and I now have a white oval shaped (almost flat) pill and I do not know for which it is a substitute. Silly I know but if anyone one knows of a substititute for either of these drugs that comes as described above without any markings whatever, please let me know. ## It's not a prescription tablet, all such tablets dispensed in the U.S. have to have imprints to enable their identification. Thus, it's likely an over the counter product. Learn more prescription drug details here. What OTC products have you been taking recently? ## Thank you - that was indeed my t...

Common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more on this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with?

I'm trying to find the name of this oval shaped diet capsule, that is half white and half purple. ## Are there any markings on it? If not, it may be difficult to determine what it contains. Do you have any other information on it? ## Thx Verwon for the response... There is no other information on it, just purple and white, no stripes nor markings... ## Finaflex PX

Do they make pentacozine without naxalone for oral use in the United States? Thank You ## The answer is "no" not in a tablet form. The liquid ampules or vials, yes, are available in the USA. the only country that supples tabet pure Talwin 50 mg is Canada,by the giant pharmaceutical mfg, Sanofi Aventis, of France, in Canada, marketed as "Talwin N" meaning Pentazocine without any narcotic antagonist, which is illegal to produce in Canada. Interestering twist, while, Talwin can only in tablet form of 50 mg must have a narcotic antagonist, in the formula in the USA since 1982, 2nd quarter, due to alleged recreational abuse. Hint: move quick, as Pentazocine, has been removed in its pure tablet form from 21 countries to 8 countries, in the past 10 years, due to either recreati...

My oxycontin 40 mg. doesn't work very well anymore and $700.00 a month is too much! ## Hello, Maemae! How are you? Yes, it is also a narcotic, so it's a controlled substance that also requires a prescription. However, it is very habit forming and should be a last resort choice, not your first, if your current medication isn't working. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? You might just need a dosage adjustment. ## Hi Verwon, thank you for your response. My doctor is my Fibromyalgia Specialist and she made the comment that if I am still feeling pain after "that much medication" then it obviously isn't working and she didn't feel comfortable with increasing the dosage. I have an appointment with a Pain Specialist the middle of February so I hope he wi...

Anyone use this for chronic pain? How is it compared to meperidine (demerol)? I used to use an electric wheelchair. Nerves pinching off in neck etc. hands drew up.. Through faith & devotion to God (daily) & finding good Doctors (myopractors, accupuncturists, some kinesiologists& chiros) using Zanaflex for spasms & demerol (mild dosage) for pain I am making tremendous strides & there is no crazy high feeling. I can function & get about now fairly well w/ only a cane & daily devotion to the Lord & simple isometrics. Good Luck & God Bless your healing ## Was able to dig up some information from the manufacturer's label for Talwin Nx (Pentazocine + Naloxone). Talwin is a potent analgesic and 30 mg is usually as effective an analgesic as morphine 10 mg...

are they like hydrocodine ## Hi cole, Pentazocine isn't exactly like Hydrocodone because it is a different medication with a different formula. However, it's a narcotic like Hydrocodone. Specifically, pentazocine is a synthetically prepared prototypical mixed agonist–antagonist narcotic (opioid analgesic) drug of the benzomorphan class of opioids used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. Pentazocine is sold under several brand names, such as Fortral, Talwin NX (with the µ-antagonist naloxone, will cause withdrawal in opioid dependent persons on injection), Talwin, Talwin PX (without naloxone), Fortwin (Lactate injectable form) and Talacen (with acetaminophen). Administration: Pentazocine is administered by subcutaneous (rarely), intramuscular, and intravenous ...

I took one dose of this drug for a cat bite. I took it with food as prescribed. During the night I had extreme stomach pain so bad I thought I was going to have to go the er. Then I had diarrhea with blood. I was so scared. I called my physician in the am to tell her what happened but by that time it had cleared up. She had one other patient this happened to after one dose. Has anyone else had this happen?pxhxu ## Interestingly enough, "mild diarrhea, gas, & stomach pain" has been listed as a less serious side effect of Augmentin. However if you are experiencing diarrhea that is watery or has blood in it, then instructions note that you should stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once; as this is regarded as a serious side effect. So it sounds like you did the ri...

Learn more Augmentin details here. Such issues can progress, so it's usually advised that you not try that antibiotic again in the future to avoid worse dangers. Hello. I am new to this site and have been reading some of the posts. Very interesting. I am having a problem, even though I am a nurse. When I was on Pramipexole 0.125 a little round pill. One of the side effects I enjoy or did enjoy was a seriously increased libido. Since going on .5MG I have yet to see an increase in my libido or being in the mood, so to speak. It's a football shaped white pill with PX 2 only on one side. They are scored tablets. Made by Glenmark. (0.5) wondering if I simply became tolerant to the med. or whether this manufacturer puts out garbage. I'm tempted to take 1MG and see what happens. I am becoming more and more frustrated every day because my days seem so boring. I really enjoy the tension and coming alive on this medicine. The NDC # for 0.125 tabs ...

Yesterday I picked up a 20 day supply of oxycontin 30 mg. It was a 20 day script. At 2 a day my px was for 60. I was HORRIFIED when the pharmacist billed me for 325.00, including my insurance discount. They claimed there is not a generic oxycontin. Oxycodone 30 mg was $15 for 60...so needless to say I was shocked!!! Is there an equivalent slow release to replace 30 mg of oxycontin? There has got to be something. I got into a bit of a habit with taking too many 30 oxycodone, which is why I was put on a slow release. Any advice out there? The pharmaceutical companies are gouging us beyond belief, and I've got a medical condition due to an accident where I need these pills, at least for another 2 months or so. The $325.00 price has me in a state of high anxiety however. Is hydromorphin...

Hello all, I usually am given the GREEN #98 833 1mg clonazepam, but when I filled px today, she gave me the BLUE v2531 1mg clonazepam. Could someone please let me know which are known to be better?
