My dr prescribed this pill and told me it's a sleeping pill to help me sleep better and relax but looking it up doesn't say anything about being a sleeping pill. My adult son had taken an antacid out of a bottle and then lay it down on the counter and forgot about it until I asked him if he knew what it was a couple days later. I asked him to please not do that again as we do have my grandchildren in the house on occasions. ## Yes, this is an antiacid, it contains 750mgs of Calcium Carbonate, a generic or store brand of Tums.
