The blister packs of "Crestor" are confusing. Each pack contains 15 pills that start on a Sunday and end up with a "Take this pill last", which also happens to be a Sunday. So I have finished one complete blister pack and the next pack says "Follow daily sequence", which also starts with a Sunday. I hope I've explained myself clearly as the packaging IS confusing. ## Those are actually just supposed to be starter packs to get someone in the habit of taking them and up to the correct dosage, if they are being titrated up. You really don't have to start it on a Sunday, nor do you have to start the next part of the pack on a Sunday, the pills have no way of knowing what day of the week it is, when you take them and neither does your body. Has anyone considered that those who have to open those little packets might also have arthritis? They are the most difficult little packets to open. If one didn't have decent fingernails, you couldn't even do it. ## If you let your pharmacy know, they will change the packaging for you to make it easier for you to use it. ## No kidding! I have a hard time even with cereal boxes. Pill bottle tops, too. Even when you tell them you don't need child-proof caps. ## My 87 year old mother uses Spiriva and swears that her capsules are defective....empty. She pinches them and doesn't feel anything inside. After she has used them, she says they are cracked (not just poked) and that nothing (no powder residue) is left. We can't return them to the pharmacy to check because they ...

December 10th, 2012 Bayer had a voluntary recall of Bronkaid for wording that was left off of some packages. Walmart does not have it in stock right now and was part of the recall. Walmart could not tell me when it would be back on their shelves but they said it would be back. I am guessing Bayer is going to repackage all the ones that did not have the correct wording on the back of the boxes pertaining to use and such of Bronkaid. This was a mistake on Bayers part and that is why the voluntary recall. Hopefully it will be back on shelves soon. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. If it's of any help, I came across more specific details on the packaging recall, linked below: bronkaid.com/en/FormulaRecall.html Unfortunately they do not state when it will be back o...

in prepping for a colonoscopy, i had to half the large bottle of miralax to mix with liquid. large bottle is 8.3, so i went to half that and realized the large bottle contains 12 oz, not 8.3 as labeled.....why???? they say that the 17oz lid has 14 servings (8.3) but i measured out the 14 servings in the lid, and there is still more than 8.3...so do i prep with 8.3 oz or the whole bottle (which everyone assumes is 8.3!!) ## Hello, Jan! How are you? If they told you to use the whole bottle, then that is what you should do, but please double check with your doctor to be sure. I've not seen anyone else mention this, so it seems very odd. The FDA classifies this as being a laxative and its typical side effects may possibly include stomach pain, bloating, diarrhea and dizziness. Is there ...

Has any else noticed the extremely difficult new packaging for Esipram? I advise anyone especially elderly patients to ask their doctors to switch off Esipram until the manufacturers come to their senses. ## It's a great way to ensure anxious people who bite their fingernails stay on this drug! The genius who came up with this ought to be fired! ## I agree, the packaging is an absolute disgrace and yes the designer of this packaging should be sacked. I can not believe that they could go to market with such an impossible to open packaging. No wonder I have to take the drug !!

Does anyone who uses the Foradil aerolizer, who also has arthritis, find it extremely difficult to open the package to get a capsule? ## I spent about 8 minutes trying to peel the six "peel away" seals off my Foradil. I have used the product for over a year, but this last batch seems to have defective adhesive or something,,,I think if you hold the packet in your hand and let it warm up to your body temp it makes it easier, but still a pain. ## I do not have arthritis, but I find the new Foradil packaging to be very aggravating. It can be very tedious and time-consuming to get the capsule out of the package. ## I've lately found it easier to deal with the packaging if I use scissors to cut along the perforated edges of each sleeve of capsules. The only issue then is that i...

I found this pill but it does not have GPI A5! Just A5 on one side and nothing on the other. What is it? It's long and white. ## I'm trying to find out the same information. ## Do you have any more context as to where it was found (country, place)? Did it come with any packaging or container?

I have pills imprinted with 0037 that are made by Trispharma. Supposedly they are Vicodins 10/325 by Trispharma. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Can't find the identification on the web. ## The only white oblong pill imprint I'm seeing by Tris Pharma that remotely resembles this is "G037"... and on the back side it just has a score line. On Tris Pharma's webpage, these are listed as generic Hydrocodone - Acetaminophen 10/325mg tablets. For additional verification, the National Drug Code is: 27808-037 You can also view a photo of the packaging it comes in at: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/drugInfo.cfmsd4caec6d I hope this helps!

I recently got my estranged ex to a dr. For suboxone treatment. I heard rumors she may not have done the right thing. Do prescription of fifteen suboxone strips come in a bottle? ## Dear Butch, I'm on suboxone (24) mg. a day. Mine comes in boxes of 30. It's a 1 month supply. If the amount of suboxone is lower than 30 they will put it in a prescription bottle. That has happened 2 me b 4. If they didn't have enough 4 a full months supply that day, they give me a partial and put it in a bottle. The information , including the amount of films will b on the bottle.

I found a small white pill with a DZ / 16 on one side nothing on the other. Does anyone know what it is? ## My first guess is that this is either an over the counter or a foreign medication. I say that because I even checked with the US National Institute of Health (nih.gov) and nothing was coming up which matches the imprint DZ 16. May I ask what country you are in? "DZ" almost sounds like it could be a brand of Diazepam, but to my knowledge it does not come in a 16 mg dose. So it is most likely not the case. Do you have any other details such as packaging or where the pill was obtained? ## Soda pop - could you have possibly mean the imprint ZD 16? Please double check the pill and let me know because I can ID a pill exactly matching your description, only it is ZD instead of DZ...

I received my prescription for zopiclone but it’s a brand I’ve never had before. The packaging says ZOPIC 7.5 and says it’s produced by Radicon Laboratories. It’s an Indian brand. Has anyone taken them? What was your experience with them? Too scared to take them but need them for insomnia and severe anxiety. The last prescription I received was also an Indian brand but different tablets with markings and they worked well. ## Not all countries, and regulatory agencies require tablets to have markings, but if you've obtained them from a legitimate source, such as a pharmacy, then it should be okay to take them, but feel free to double check with them, if you aren't sure. Zopiclone may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, next day hangove...

Dose anyone know what this pill is: it's bright yellow smooth on one side and on the other there letters of CPC on top a line under it and the numbers 2529 on the bottom half. Can't find what is every where I look on drugs.com and found nothing please help. ## Can you tell me what the country of origin is for this pill? Chances are it is either a prescription product from outside the United States or it can also be an over-the-counter product from anywhere. Any other details which you could provide would be very helpful such as manufacturer, packaging, etc... ## The pill is Walgreen's brand Bronchial Asthma Relief, which contains 12.5mg Ephedrine and 200mg Guaifenesin per pill. Hope that helps!

One takes sumatriptan succinate for migraines. When one has started, it is tough to see clearly. However, the blister packaging of this drug is diffilcult and frustrating to deal with even without a migraine being present! WHY do these pills have to be packaged this way?????? ## Well, unless you're storing them for a very long time, there's really no reason they have to stay in that packaging. You'd want to make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets, but you could take them out of the blister packs ahead of time, so when you need to take one for a migraine, you're not fighting with the packaging at an inopportune time. :-) Learn more Sumatriptan details here. I found a red oval pill with NV on one side blank on the other! ## Hi Deborah, I'm having a tough time locating a match on this one, but did find some clues as to where they were most likely purchased from. Apparently a red oval shaped tablet with "NV" engraved on one side and blank on the other, is sold at GNC and Wal-Mart. That means it could potentially be some sort of OTC diet-related pill. However you may want to take it to one of those places (probably GNC first) and try to ask one of their employees if they can help you identify it based on what they have in stock. I know some products even show an image of the pill on their packaging to represent its actual size "(____)"... If you're able to keep an eye out for it while you're there, that's probab...

What is a pink square pill with the letters DP on both sides ## What is a pink square pill with DP on both sides. I think DP stands for Dragon PHARMACEUTICAL. BUT I DON'T NO WHAT THE PILL IS. ## I've seen steroid description that look similar to this, in that they are often described as square pills with two letter imprints such as BP or DP on them. In this case, Dragon Pharmaceuticals does produce steroids, which only adds to my hunch on what it might be. I would encourage you to contact this company directly just to be on the safe side. They do have a webpage where you can write to them if you google their name. Their Dianabol in particular appears to have pink packaging (a clue perhaps?), while the other steroid packages are shown in a variety of different colors. I hope this...

I found a long yellowish pill that has a line on one side and absolutely nothing written on either side. It's days percocet 10:325 on the outside packaging. What is this? ## Hello, Bobby! How are you? Is there anything else on the packaging, such as manufacturer name or country of origin? In that type of packaging, it could very well be a foreign brand of Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Many people do order from foreign sources, when they have trouble obtaining the medications they need from their doctors, due to new prescribing regulations. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## probably fake Percocets.
