very large round white pill with the letters RP101 on it ## I cannot find this listed in any of our databases. Can you provide anymore information, such as what country you are in? ## Is it possible that you have confused the letter R with the letter A ? They could look very similar, especially on pill markings. The reason I ask is because there's a white oblong tablet out there with the marking AP 101. This is known as Extendryl SR which contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate 8 mg + Methscopolamine Nitrate 2.5 mg + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 20 mg. It is a combination of Antihistamine, Decongestant, and Anticholinergic medications which is used to treat the nasal congestion and runny nose caused by allergies or the common cold. ## Its generic walgreens rolaids, taste it seriously ## Th...

It is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and some cardiac conditions. Is there anything I can help with?

you note that generic meds can be marked same as proprietery "other" mess. how to be sure what I have? ## Hello, Dr. Dre! How are you? I think you're misunderstanding, so I'll try to clear this up for you. All prescription medications are marked, but the markings have to be unique to each manufacturer, each medication and each dosage of that medication. For instance, a round white tablet with A 101 on one side in black print, with nothing on the other is listed as being a 150mg Budeprion XL tablet, which is a time released formulation of Bupropion. Now, there are other companies that also make a 150mg time released dosage, but they cannot use the same imprint, they have to use a different one. This is done to help make sure that the medications can be identified and trac...

I am a school nurse and one of these pills GC 101was found in hallway, after not being able to identify pill via web, called local pharmacy and it pulled up as non aspirin pain reliever 325 mg so in other words generic regular strength Tylenol. ## Thank you for taking the time to share this information! I also find it rather difficult to identify most of the OTC medications, since their pill imprints aren't usually listed online. A few pill identifiers out there actually specialize in identifying OTC meds, but they require some sort of ridiculous monthly subscription that most of the general public probably isn't willing to pay for. For those who may be looking for additional details on Aspirin, you can learn more about this drug on the page for Aspirin Details I hope this helps!

Found this pill with RA1015 on one side and is + scored on the back, any help would be much appreciated! ## Hi Buck, Do you also know what color this pill is supposed to be? From your description, the closest match I see on the internet is a 500mg Levetiracetam tablet, which only carries the "1015" part of your imprint. The manufacturer of this particular pill is reported to be Torrent Pharma, Inc.; and I have to wonder if they make any other tablets that also have "1015" on them... Although depending on where or who you got it from, another theory is that it may be something that was manufactured outside of the US. Reason I say this is because no other apparent matches come up under popular US search engines, where you can typically find most medications listed that are...

Found these pills outside on the sidewalk. What are they? ## These are Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) 325mg. Manufacturer is not listed on the label. The distributor is Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals Corp,1650 - 63rd St., Brooklyn NY 11204. (GC=GeriCare) NDC is 57896-102. Inactive Ingredients: - Povidone - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Starch, Corn -Stearic Acid - Crospovidone - Methylparaben - Propylparaben Source: DailyMed ## I've tried looking for these for a few days now, since first seeing your post, but I am just not finding them listed anywhere. My biggest suspicion is that they are something that's available over the counter, which would explain their not being listed in any of the prescription drug databases that I checked. Does anyone else recognize these?
