I believe the Ig 23 should not be labeled as 'Xanax' as it is highly misleading. There is no way it can be considered a Xanax. The introduction of these new drug brands is extremely confusing, particularly for older individuals. It's no surprise that my dad double-checks the markings on his Xanax pills! ## Hello, Missyboo! How are you? The blue, oval tablet with the marking IG 213 is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Sertraline, which is an SSRI antidepressant. So, it is not a Xanax, nor is it a related medication in the same class and it does not work the same. The pill imprint IG 213 is in fact 50mgs of Sertraline. I actually had my script filled with those and thought they were "purple footballs" (Xanax), but I looked a little closer and noticed that the numbers weren't normal. So I looked them up online as well and found out to my dismay that Sertraline 50mg is a generic of Zoloft used for depression. Of course, it had me fooled. ## Correct, this tablet contains Sertraline 50 mg (NDC 31722-0213). I got the same white oval 2172 imprint for my Norco Rx. I searched for information on this but didn't find anything until I looked here. I thought the pharmacy made a mistake. It is not effective for my pain and made me very nauseated. I don't like this "new" brand at all! I wonder if the pharmacy would exchange them for the previous manufacturer. I can't tolerate the nausea and almost had to miss work due to the nausea not to mention that I was still in pain. ## wondering if they replaced for you. i got these today and was on oxycodone right after a shoulder surgery. S 21 how long to clear up an infection? ## Hello, Rich! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Penicillin. The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. The general rule with antibiotics is that if it's working, you shouldn't see any worsening after taking it for a full 24 hours and you should start to see improvement after taking it for a full 3 days. However, the length of treatment may vary, depending on the infection being treated and its severity, so you should take it for the entire period of time that your doctor has told you to do so. Is there anything else I can help with?
