Implantation bleeding or breakthrough bleeding?
1 Reply RSS
I don't usually get a period taking this pill so I'm not sure if I could be pregnant or not... I'm don't always take my pills on time and I had intercourse 11 days ago and today (6 days before my period "should" come) I notices slight bleeding that is a light pinkish & dark brown. After doing research I read that implantation bleeding usually occurs 3-6 days before your period is supposed to come but also ready that the pill and cause breakthrough bleeding. Thoughts? ## Hello, Abyss! How are you? It's really just a guessing game, at this point, it could be either/or. The only thing you can really do is wait and see if you do get your period and if you don't, have a pregnancy test done. However, if you didn't totally skip any pills, then the chance... ...

I take this med for my migraines. My insurance will not pay anything, and it is costing me almost $100 for 25 pills. Is there a generic I can purchase instead? ## Hello, Gilmer Gal! How are you? Unfortunately, what you've listed is the generic. The name brand would be Midrin. Have you tried checking the price with other pharmacies in your area? They may be cheaper. Another alternative is to try one of the discount cards, such as the free one offered on this site. You click the link, put in your email address and print the card. They do save a lot of money for some people. Typical side effects to this medication may include nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. Does anyone else have any suggestions that may help? ## Thank you so much. Wow, in my next life I want to be a pharmaceutical co... ...

I had what I thought was a light period on Dec 31st till Jan 4. I called my doctor cause I was worried I might be pregnant. I have been on birth control for 2 years and in October this year I switched to tri sprintec after sprintec was giving me headaches. My doctor said I should not be pregnant since I take my pill everyday. I had intercourse with my boyfriend alot a week after my period the beginning of December but I took my pills. lately since the light period I have been feeling sick. For a week now I have had stomach aches and a back ache which I thought was from lifting a Christmas tree. Everyone says I shouldn't be pregnant even my doctor. I did take a lot of aspirin for my back. Like 3 325mg a couple times a day. Could I be pregnant if I'm in so much pain or what? ## He... ...

Problem with irregular period after restarting the Lo Loestrin Fe again
1 Reply RSS
I forgot the last week weeks of pills and according to instruction I have to restart taking a new pack and discard those remaining last two weeks of pill ( which I did ). A day after missing my pill, I got my period ( like normal and on schedule ) I restarted taking the Lo Loestrin Fe back 2 weeks after being off it. Then my period started again 20 days after the last day of my period. It was light ( like my last period ). But the problem or concern I have now is that I got the period for a week, then it stopped for 2 days, then came back for another 2 days ( also light that it is ok to just wear pantiliner ) then after that it stopped for another 2 days, now its back again and I am having little cramps like I am having period. Is this normal? ## Yes, that can happen, if you miss pills ... ...
