large round white pill ## So far, we have been unable to identify this one. These are over the counter products and therefore the markings are not required to be logged with the FDA. Does anyone recognize this tablet? There is an L 484 that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, but it is an oblong tablet, not round.

What are they Cause it light blue and only have L470 on it ## Hi Lillian, Based on the description provided, I haven't found an exact match, but I do suspect that this is a common over-the-counter med just by going off the imprint alone. Reason I say this is because I have identified other OTC pills with "L4xx" followed by two other numbers. Perrigo Company appears to manufacturer these types of pills. So if I were you I'd consider contacting Perrigo directly to see if they can pinpoint whether or not this is truly one of their products. Perrigo's customer service number for OTC product inquiries is listed as 1-800-719-9260... I hope that helps! Does anyone else here recognize this?

dont know what it is and what its used for ## Hi miss B, Unfortunately I'm having trouble verifying the identification of this pill. The closest match I've found is a white round pill with the imprint L421. It is called Medique medi seltzer and contains aspirin (325 mg) + citric acid (1000 mg) + sodium bicarbonate (1916 mg). It's basically Alka Seltzer; which is an effervescent antacid and pain reliever tablet first marketed by the Dr. Miles Medicine Company. It was developed by Maurice Treener, head chemist at Miles, in Elkhart Indiana. Alka-Seltzer is marketed for relief of minor aches, pains, inflammation, fever, headache, heartburn, sour stomach, indigestion, and hangovers, while neutralizing excess stomach acid. This is a generic for Tylenol. It's not a narcotic and can be sold over the counter. ## Hi Sandy - The closest thing I can find to the pill which you are describing is Latuda 40mg, NDC code 51148-001. It's round and white with the imprint L over 40. Is this what you have? If not, then it could be possible that a similar pill exists for generic Acetaminophen since over the counter drugs don't always have to carry unique imprints the way that prescription medications do.

I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? If so, then the tablet in question is actually just an over the counter pain reliever containing Acetaminophen 500 mg (not a narcotic). NDC 49348-042 among others. Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed ## I believe your pill is Acetaminophen 325mg, Dextromethorphan 15mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, phenylephrine 5mg, which are active ingredients in Cold PE Severe Congestion, an OTC combo. #...

WHITE CAPSUL ## I can't find a listing for this, can I ask where you found it? Does anyone else know what this is? ## Some research has indicated that this is an over-the-counter cold remedy which contains Acetaminophen 325 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg + Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg.
