Does anyone know what the pink pill is that is for yeast infection and you only have to take one.......I don't know anything more today. ## Diflucan - your doctor will know what it is and you can only get it with a prescription. Here is a web site - www.yeast-infection-remedies.com/candida-diflucan.html ## Though it can't be definitively said without knowing the markings, Diflucan would also have been my best guess, since it is available in a single dose, pink tablet for treating yeast infections. It contained the active ingredient Fluconazole, and is now also available as a generic under this name and some pharmacies even include it on their $4 discounted medications formulary. Are there any questions or comments? There are more Diflucan details available here.

While the medication may get rid of the current infection permanently, it is always possible for you to catch another yeast infection. You may want to research how to help prevent them from occurring. Learn more Fluconazole details here. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## I would like to know how a person ...

I was prescribed fluconazole for a yeast infection after taking antibiotics. I took the first dose two days ago 150mg. The prescription says to wait 3 days to take the second dose but I am still experiencing the symptoms and want to take it early. ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? For the best results, it is best to follow the prescribing instructions. The medication will not clear it up and alleviate all the symptoms immediately, it will take several days to work. Most prescriptions are just for one tablet, not two. The FDA classifies Fluconazole as an antifungal medication and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So my doctor just prescribed me fluconazole 9/18/17. He gave me 4 tablets for a ...

That said, that type of discharge and the itching is commonly caused by vaginal yeast infections. Learn more Candidiasis details here. And if that's what it was, then the medication was most likely an antifungal drug, but I can't tell you which one from just the color. Can you call them and ask what it was?

My tounge and gums have cuts on it, I was told it was a yeast infection very very painful ## There are no over the counter medications available to treat oral thrush. Have you consulted your doctor? I am a man who takes lyrica. Can I give my wife a yeast infection from my sperm having lyrica in it? ## Hello, Eric! How are you? No, it doesn't work that way, regardless of the medication, she would not be exposed to enough of it via your sperm to cause any issues. Unless you are prescribed a medication that specifically says not to engage in intercourse, while taking it, there is nothing to worry about. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Lyrica as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight gain. Are there any other questions or concerns?

can sulameth tmp ds be used for yeast infection???? ## No, Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic, which is effective against bacterial infections and a yeast infection is caused by a fungus, not bacteria. This medication can actually cause yeast infections as a side effect. Have you consulted your doctor?

Can this cream be used for a yeast infection? ## I am experiencing a bad itch in my vagina and I have a tube of clotrimazole cream usp 1% but it expired two months ago. Is it still safe? ## RE: clotrimazole/betameth cream - Can I use it inside my vagina for dryness or yeast? ## I started using Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream 10 days ago for itching and burning in the groin area. How long will this condition take to heal with this cream? ## DO NOT USE INSIDE YOUR VAGINA! It clearly says that on my tube (no vagina). Not nose, mouth or eyes either. Use twice a day at the same schedule. Not longer than five days in a row and definitely not longer than 4 weeks!!!

Can nitrofur macr 100 mg be used to treat yeast infections? ## No, an antibiotic will not cure a yeast infection. Antibiotics can actually cause them, or worsen an existing one. Yeast is actually a fungal infection, so it requires an antifungal medication to be eradicated. There are some that are available over the counter, such as Monistat. Learn more Monistat details here. However, if this is your first yeast infection, then you need to see your doctor to confirm that it's a yeast infection and discover the proper, safe remedy for you. I started taking Minastrin when Loestrin was discontinued. My doctor assured me that it was the best choice because all of the ingredients were the same. I had zero side effects on Loestrin..so I went with it. Now every time I have intercourse with my boyfriend I get a yeast infection. Currently I have a yeast infection/vaginal irritation that WILL NOT go away. (Haven't had intercourse for 6 weeks...and yes, been tested for STIs) I've been prescribed 3 different medications and I've seen 4 different doctors. I've stopped taking Minastrin and will begin LoLoestrin soon. Has anyone else experienced a problem like this on Minastrin? And most important, did the yeast infections every go away!? ## Hello, Lindsay! How are you? Are they certain that it's a yeast infection? ...

I have a real bad yeast infection on my foot. Blisters, skin peeling, very foul odor. Will Sulfamethoxazole TMP DS help me? ## Hi Niesha, How are you? Sorry to hear about the yeast on your foot. To answer your question though, sulfamethoxazole/tmp is generally not recommended for treating yeast infections, as it is more so intended to treat "bacterial" infections. So in my opinion, it isn't necessarily the best 1st choice option. If you want to eradicate a yeast infection I would suggest talking with your doctor about trying an anti-fungal medication, such as Diflucan (Fluconazole), which is actually marketed for use in treating yeast infections/candida specifically. It's also important to note that some antibiotics (including sulfamethoxazole/tmp) can also backfire and ...

I was taking Jardiance 10 mg at night before bed, it did keep my sugar down. Now I take metformin in the morning and radiance 25 mg before bed. I haven't had a yeast infection in years, and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this kind of reaction? ## Hello, Christy! How are you? What have your blood sugar levels been? Women with diabetes often experience yeast infections, when their sugars are out of control, as reported by the NIH. Thus, it may be more due to having it under better control. Can any other women who are diabetic chime in? ## I've been taking 25mg X11 wk. Yesterday I noticed itching. Sugars around 130 in am, decreasing to 90-100 during the day. Going to try probiotics. I've been prescribed Flucess by a Caribbean physician for a recent yeast infection and it works. In just three days the burning when I pee and irritation and discharge has been minimized by at least 70% with a prescription of 3 capsules that were to be taken every other day. My husband was even treated just to minimize transfer again. Hope this helps. ## I have also been prescribed flucess by a carribean doctor. I am on my second week of treatment. However I don't see any improvement as yet.

Did any one while on Lyrica have problems with yeast infections? How about your tongue swelling? ## Yes. I have never had yeast infections, and since starting Lyrica, I have been battling them for 2 months. Lyrica's website mentions nothing about this issue, but I am quite positive that it is directly related. Nothing else in my life has changed (diet, exercise, spouse, etc). ## I was also having yeast infection problems on lyrica and I finally figured that lyrica was causing me to have vaginal dryness. Now I use a moisturizing vaginal suppository every night and haven't had a yeast infection since. I would first use a homepathic yeast infection treatment to treat the yeast infection and the immediatly start the moistrizing vaginal suppositories Hope this helps. ## I'm on ly...
