can oxycod/acetamino 10-325 cause death if used improperly. I started taking this for extreme pain to my lungs, and massive headaches caused by stage 5 COPD. ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? Any medication has the potential to cause a fatal overdose if used improperly. This contains a narcotic, so the risks for it are slightly higher than for something more innocuous like an antibiotic, but they all do carry some risk. Just be careful to only take it according to your doctor's instructions and don't mix it with alcohol. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any other questions or concerns? ...

Is this a generic for Percocet? ## yes...this site is kinda like the old DB... ## Hello, Tom! How are you? Yes, Oxycodone and Acetaminophen are the active ingredients in Percocet, so this is a generic for it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Oxycodone Acetaminophen 7 5 325 I was prescribed this because of severe pain due to being kicked in the nuts by some jungle bunny. I just had surgery and was prescribed Percocet for pain. I stopped taking it yesterday but still feel out if it and dizzy today? How long will I feel the effects of this med? ## Those can be normal side effects and it may take a few days to wear off. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If your doctor okays it, you should be able to cut these in half and take a lower dose to alleviate your pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Hello I am taking Hydroco\aceta 10 325 for knee pains. I had total rt knee replacement 2 yrs ago. Currently I have fever for 3 days. Went to my doc and he gave me levoquin and Motrin 500. Is it safe for me to take this while on Verapamil for high bp ? I only take the Hydro once a day if I need it. ## Hello, Maria! How are you feeling? Is your doctor aware of everything that you take? It is only safe to combine these medications, if they have approved that you do so. How high is your blood pressure? The Motrin may cause some elevation and fluid retention. Levaquin is an antibiotic that may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Motrin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation... ...

Can hydroco/acetamin 7.5-325mg be taken prior to root canal ## Hydrocodone /acetaminophen is a narcotic analgesic and CAN be taken before, during and after a root canal. There is no ASPRIN in it, or anything that causes thinning blood ......since I believe that is why you are asking the question? Anyway....it is fine to take it or, if you are taking it, to continue without stopping for the procedure. ...

hydrocodone is all the same. "Vicoprofen" is superior for dental pain ## Hi Kim, I'm not sure what the basis of your post is in so far as saying that "hydrocodone is all the same"? But the idea of adding Ibuprofen to the mix instead of the standard Acetaminophen/Tylenol doesn't seem to measure out a significant difference in my opinion, since they are both NSAID's. Vicoprofen may be good for pain for one person, but not necessarily another since everyone tends to respond differently. However each drug still comes with an understanding that undesirable and potentially fatal side effects such as liver or kidney damage, stomach bleeding, etc, has been reported to happen. So even if one does yield better results, the risk factors of using either one long term are... ...

If hydrocodone soap upsets stomach will oxycodone do the same ## Not necessarily. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are two different pain medications that effect each person differently. Some people actually respond very well to Hydrocodone and not so well to Oxycodone; and vise versa. Unfortunately there's really no way of knowing what to expect ahead of time with any medication that you haven't used before. Not to mention Hydrocodone is also accompanied by Acetaminophen, which can pose a lot of risks and side effects in and of itself. In that regard, Acetaminophen could very well be the culprit and not Hydrocodone. Have you had a chance to discuss this with your doctor yet? ...

Please tell me if watson has a white 10/325?? I only had the yellow one's.. Are they real? ## Actually, Watson has recently been removing the dye from many of their tablets, due to people being allergic or sensitive to them. Thus, several of their products are now white. However, if you received it from an approved U.S. pharmacy and it has the same markings, then it is still the correct medication. Learn more Lortab details here. You should be aware, however, that there have also been reports from some that they don't seem to work the same and aren't as effective.
