Hello. I am 34 year old and I have been on Percoet 10/325 for abut 6 years. i take 3-4 a day. I never asked for anything stronger nor has my dosage ever been increased. I have Spinal Scoliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, 2 herniated Disc, A pinch nerve in my neck and back, as well as Osteo Arthritis in my neck. I must have called 20 or more doctors today. None of them will prescribe me benzodiazepines such as Klonopin at all. I'm 25 and have been on it since I was 16 and they just simply say "no one in the state will prescribe those thanks for calling". I'm near Charlotte but right now I would drive anywhere to get them because in a week or two I will be deathly sick and I can't face that. Can anybody give me some advice or their own experiences with pain management doctors in Charlotte North Carolina? I suffer from chronic pain in my neck, lower back, and primarily in my left leg from a severe knee injury in '09. I broke my Tibia, Fibula, tore my acl, pcl, and the perineal nerve. My ortho surgeon said I had a 50/50 chance of having dropfoot due to the severity of nerve damage even if the reconstructive surgery went well. Luckily that did not happen, but I did have to have a 2nd surgery about 7 months later due to unexplained pain where my pcl is located and limited movement and strength gaining. I just moved to Ocean County NJ from North Carolina....I have had 2 failed back surgeries and 1 failed neck surgery and still with 2 herniated discs in my back, one torn disc, and 2 herniated discs in my neck. North Carolina is a strict state also but will fill 3 days early at most mainstream pharmacies, if it's been at least 30 days since the last fill regardless of what the doctor wrote as the refill date. ## Thanks for sharing this important information. I always thought doctors were the ones who had the most amount of control over the refill date; but I can understand how (in certain rare cases) it may be helpful to grant a pharmacist permission to make such a fateful decision on behalf of their own whit and whim - e.g. if a doctor is out of town on vacation and/or the patient is undergoing withdrawals & various circumstances of that nature... It's just a little disturbing though when pharmacists abuse this power to their fullest extent, rendering some doctor's pain script...

I Lived in new jersey my entire life and i am going to move to Florida about an hour from Daytona. I have bin on pain meds from pain management. I get Roxy 15 4 times a day and oxycontin 30 3 times for 8 years will I be able to get this in Florida ? ## Doubt it. DEA has scared the doctors with prosecutions, life imprisonments and even murder charges down here. It's horrible for legitimate patients to get help. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have been on methadone for 9 years. I have had a lot of pain issues since having cancer 10 years ago. I went to a pain management clinic in Philadelphia. No problems. TRhen I moved to MB and the only resouce I've been given is a methadone clinic.. I need to find a doctor to write my methadone for me. My insurance pays for that. but a clinic which is not helping my issue and want 300.00 dollars a month and I have to go everyday. I am not the healthiest person I can't do it.
