Can my pain management doctor count pills from my other doctors with the same hospital or will he count just the ones he prescribed? ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? It depends on the type of agreement you have with your PM doctor. Some stipulate that they can monitor all medication intake, especially of controlled substances, but some don't. Do you remember any of the details of your treatment contract? ## If you do indeed have a pain control arrangement with your doctor (I do), you should have a copy. Mine stipulates all pain meds must come from my doctor only and if another doctor prescribes (for instance I had surgery recently) I need to notify my pain control doctor .. which I did. Anyone who needs to take opiates/opiods on a regular basis to treat their pain should be monitored cl...

Last month I got called in for a pill count. I was 20 pills short due to the weather changing and my fibro causing me so much pain. I have an appt today to get a refill. What's gonna happen ## @babygirl2474, Sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia pain. I feel for you, as I happen to know a few people dealing with that who can't seem to find a lasting solution to managing the pain and discomfort associated with it. Concerning your pill count, the best thing to do in my opinion is to just be sincere and honest about what you felt like you had to do in order to control peaking levels of pain. However, in many similar stories I've read here, if you don't have the amount the doctor is looking for, they've been known to either give out a warning, make false assumptions abou...

I have found a white/cream coloured pill in my car door, need some answer from people as I dont know what it is. It has a capital 'M' with an underscore underneath it followed by the number '200'. It is round and smooth. Please help. ## This pill is difficult to ID, but I did find some information that may be of help. Another patient with this same pill has an "assumption" that it may be 200mg of Ibuprofen (Motrin), and they believe the PV could stand for 'Premier Value'. This user was based in the UK if that counts for anything, but since I can't locate a definitive match, this is all I have to go off of for now. Hopefully someone else who has this pill in their possession can help by posting a few more details on what it might be. Good luck on your ...

is it possible that a man has zero counts of sperm? and what are the things could help to increase the sperm count ## Yes, it is possible for a man to be producing no sperm, or no live sperm and, if that were the case, he would be considered infertile. And, except for rare cases where it may have happened due to some medical treatments, that type of infertility usually can't be changed. Learn more infertility details here. Have you been told that you have aren't producing any sperm? ## How can the man father a child?

Been in pain management for 10 yrs. I always passed my drug panels and pill counts. I follow my dr's orders. She just retired and I despertly need a dr in va. Or north carolina. Help. I have medicare humana regional ppo. It's good for va. and north carolina. ## I am from North Carolina myself and have issues trying to find a good pain management doctor. I thought I may have found one after been with him for almost 2 years in which he had been prescribing me the medicine that actually works plus not even requiring a monthly visit but every 3 months which has been sort of a relief. However, I do have a question 4 anyone out there dealing with pain management who are in North Carolina or anywhere else for that matter. Has anyone ever been asked to give up benzos before their pain d...

Is anyone living in Alabama getting pill cuts of methadone? My doctor told me it was because of Governor Bentley signing in new opiate restriction for all pain doctors. (Not Clinics). Is anyone else going through this pill cut? I have never failed a drug panel nor have any of my pill counts been off. I know I have done nothing wrong so I just wanted to see if anyone else is being cut also... (I was wondering if maybe my doctor may have got in trouble and this is why but I don't know)? ## Hello, Sami! How are you? It is actually a directive that was issued by the DEA and applies all over the U.S. They have requested that everyone be put on no more than the equivalent of 120mgs of Morphine a day and some states have lowered it even further to no more than the equivalent of 100mgs of M...

Hi. I have been taking oxy 15's four times a day for the past five years. I have gone through two doctors, as the constant drug testing and pill counts have resulted in unfair dismissals from wonderful physicians who had no choice, as it was hospital policy. I am so tired of being treated like a drug seeker. I suffer from degenerative arthritis in my hips, bulging discs in lumbar spine, fibromyalgia, sacroiliac joint dysfunction as well as depression and panic disorder. I have not had any relief from pain in over 10 months. I have two young children and I can barely provide for their basic care and needs. It is so depressing and sad, when I can function normally if medicated appropriately. Someone please help me find a doctor or give me some advice. I cannot hold down a job or be ac...

I'm taking levothyroxine 75 mcg since about 10 years and now my platelets counts are lower than normal since about 3 years. I just read that this medication can be the cause. I never had symptoms of thyroid problems, the doctors prescribe the medication after having my check up blood test. Beside that I am very healthy, eat well, not overweight and exercise regulary. Do you think there is a way to get out of this medicine and go with something natural. I hate taking pills! ## If you don't have a thyroid problem, why are you taking it? I'm afraid that I'm confused on this. It is never a good idea to take a medication that you don't really need. But no, I've not found such a thing listed among the detailed side effects for this medication. They usually include naus...

I hv to chg primary care MD, been on oxycodone + clonazepam a few years, ? an MD (PCP) who will prescribe these or other like meds (w my medical Hx Info) in Central Ma, preferably Leominster/Fitchburg/Worcetser, Central Mass area. I'm used to the pain contract & u.a, pill counts, pain diary.. that don't bother me, as long as my urine tox is ok (as it always was) & I follow what the doc ask of me I'd like to stay on my med routine. Anyone know of an MD who will do this? ## Hi, John! How are you? Under the new regulations, you're most likely not going to be able to get such medications, on a long-term basis, from a PCP. They are restricted now in what they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescribe it. Thus, you'll need to set up a...

looking for some kind of pill that looks like a oxycodone 20mg,they look lite gray, small round,4 a count, ## I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at here. Are you simply trying to identify a pill that looks like it might be an Oxycodone? Or are you trying to find a pill to replace someone else's Oxycodone? Hopefully not the latter of the two - for karma's sake, but if you can post back with anymore details that would be great! ## You aren't going to find any that are going to fool someone that's used to what the pills should look like. All prescription tablets have unique imprints to enable their identification and any medical personnel doing pill counts is going to know what to look for to be sure they are real. Are there any good drs in or around Lexington NC that will get me back on my pain meds without all the drama? I have been on Roxicodone 20mg 5xs a day, prescribed through my primary care dr. He started to get afraid of prescribing the amount of medication I needed, after 2 years, and referred me out to a pain clinic. In 6 months, I have had 5 u/a's, several pill counts, and it doesn't appear to be getting any better. I have Medicare and 1 u/a alone leaves me with a bill of $62 left over to pay once Medicare has paid their part. The whole thing is just getting to be too costly! Please, if anyone knows a good dr for pain management in my area, please let me know!! Thanks

Hi there, I'm 26 years old and been diagnosed with PCOS. Really explains alot on my period absence for more then 2 years. So I've been taking metformin as well as Diane 35. I have completed the first 21 pill and I'm the midst of the resting days for 7 days before I can continue on taking the other 21 pill. My Ob gave me a 2 month medication for Diane 35 as well as the metformin. The thing is, on the 6th day of my break from Diane 35, my period came out. Its not that much, but it still counts as me having my period right? So once i'm done with my period, do I still need to continue taking Diane 35?

blue oblong pill with mp425on one side ## THIS IS NOT HYDROCHLOROQUININE!!! Not even related to it. Sorry. This tablet contains Guaifenesin 600mgs and Pseudoephedrine 60mgs, it is commonly sold under the name Deconsal II and is a cold remedy. ## Started hydrochloroquinine 4 weeks ago. Great reduction in pain. Complexion is a little spotty, though. My platelet counts have been jumping down very fast at times lately, then going back up - so far. Has anyone had experience with low platelets when taking pantoprazole or another PPI? If so, how did it behave over time? So far mine are not dangerously low, but I'm nervous. ## Pantoprazole has been known to cause that in some people that take it, as a side effect, according to FDA reports, though it isn't common. Other side effects may include nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, and headache. Are you on any other medications? Have they considered any other reasons for this to be occurring?
