As the other person asked. I would like to dye my white pills to quickly identify I sort ny pills in a weekly keeper so I cant leave them in the container they come in. The best option would be just to familiarize yourself with the markings on them, so you can recognize them that way. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. metoprolol ## Good question. Do you happen to know what the strength of the pill is, as well as the manufacturer? There are several possible appearances for this pill. For example: Metoprolol manufactured by AstraZeneca comes in 25, 50, 100, and 200 mg dosages... All of those are White. But Mylan Pharmaceuticals manufactures METOPROLOL TARTRATE in 50 mg (which is Pinkish Red with M over 32 on it), and 100 mg (which is a lighter Blue with M over 47 on it). Not to mention there are many other possibilities. Hope this helps. James

PINK R\029 ## You will not be able to identify any pills by color alone, there are no proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry that says all pills with the same ingredients must have the same color, the color choice is entirely up to the manufacturer. I have been taking Zolpidem 10 mg for several months for insomnia. It mostly works pretty well. I got a new supply from my insurance (Medco) and instead of white, the pill is pale orange. Is there is reasonable explanation for this? ## I also got the pale orange pills. They are not working nearly as good. I am waking up in the middle of the night. I found a peach colored pill with number 75 etched on one side and on the other side there are lines simil to rays on one half of the pill- the 75 could be SL if i am lloking at it the wrong way(upside down)- I hope someone knows waht this is-thank you ## Is it possibly w 75?
