I just finished using this for itchy skin at 35+ wks pregnant, i now have a yeast infection am i okay to take a over the counter med for it or one the dr prescribed? ## Hi mandy, Since you are pregnant, I believe you would need to ask your doctor about every medication you are thinking about taking wether it's prescription or OTC. What is the name of the OTC medication you're considering and what are the active ingredients? I'm not sure if you're allowed to take probiotics, but doing so may be able to prevent yeast infections in the future by reinstating good bacteria in your body. Also, apple cider vinegar is a popular alternative for treating yeast infections without medications. Based on my research, Braggs apple cider vinegar is safe for use during and after pregnanc...

I have a 6 month old tattoo and was prescribed this for my psoriasis. Will this affect the tattoos longevity? ## Hi Dez, I noticed there was another discussion thread here asking a similar question and just wanted to share the link with you: Ref - Can I use triamcinolone cream on my new tattoo I've also read reports from others with tattoos who have used steroid creams and didn't experience any fading. However my personal view is that a fading tattoo would probably come secondary to my health; especially since it can be retouched. Have you considered researching any natural alternatives for psoriasis treatment? My brother used to have psoriasis and had success with light therapy. Apple cider vinegar has also been touted as a treatment option. Hope this helps!

My doctor has advised chymonac tabs. Alongwith D-Gain & Gemcal -DS for degenerative changes in LS spine. I have constipation problem after taking these med. Pl. Advise is it side effect of these med? I am 70 year old. ## Based on my research, 'constipation' is in fact listed as a side effect of Gemcal-DS (calcitriol). If however, its become too bothersome or severe, I would strongly recommend contacting your doctor as soon as possible to find a more appropriate solution. Have you considered supplementing with any laxatives or digestive enzymes to help breakdown food blockages in the intestines? Just adding a bit more fiber to your diet may even help relieve much of the constipation. Fruits such as, bananas, dates, rasins, apples, apple juice and apple cider are also natural ...

I'm currently taking suboxone. Can I take garcinia cambogia pills for weight loss? I have heard from people on methadone that it pushes them into withdrawal. ## I'm on 3 mlgs of Suboxone. I also want to take Garcina Cambogia and pure apple cider vinegar. Does anyone know if there is any drug interactions with these? Other posts have said that heve gone into withdrawal. Thanks ## Yes it does. Garcia Camborgia made me fail a drug panel for the presence of Buprenorphine. Garcia Cambogia metabolizes the medication out of your system so it’s like you never took the medication. ## Hello Scubalove, I was not able to find a credible source that shows there is an adverse interraction between the two but I have found multiple sources of unsupported discussions and forums that claim ...

I just took my first dose (145 mcg) of Linzess this morning. Within 2 hours I had 2 normal bowel movements with no pain. After 5 hours, my head started feeling prickly and itchy, my ears plugged up and then my heart seemed to be slowing down to the point where I started to pass out. Now (7 hrs later) I am still feeling that way. Is there something I can take to counteract that and how long does Linzess stay in my body? ## Hi Linda, Sorry to hear about the symptoms you're experiencing on Linzess. I can't help but wonder though, if you've looked into any safer laxatives on the market that don't exhibit such strange side effects? (i.e. things like Epsom Salt, apple cider vinegar, etc). Concerning how long Linzess remains in the body, information I found online stated that i...

I have been on suboxone 8mg 2 a day for 13 years. I started taking goli apple cider vitamins about a month ago. My problem is my Suboxone quarantine test game back saying I have no Suboxone in my system. I never mentioned to the doctor I started taking Goli. Now I'm going through withdrawal from Suboxone because the doctor thinks I never took my meds and didn't write my prescription for this month. I just took another Suboxone level test yesterday and it gets sent out. I'm asking is the goli messing up my test? I swear I have not taken anything else and I was getting ready to take the new shot available to finally get off Suboxone. I've been trying for years to get off this an I can't do it. The shot looks promising but now I'm stuck because of the test saying I ...

I am having a very difficult time with acid reflux while taking tasigna. My doctor doesn't approve any of the acid reflux medicine as they are unsafe. Do anyone know of a safe and effective option? ## Hi Val, I agree with your doctor’s statement about acid reflux medications being regarded as unsafe, despite a drug company’s effective marketing tactics and 'happy-go-lucky' commercials advertised on TV. My dad was taking Prilosec for several months before eventually switching over to having green drinks and/or manuka honey w/ apple cider vinegar as a safer alternative to successfully counteract his acid reflux and heartburn (associated with esophagitis and having a relatively poor diet). So that may be something to taking into consideration... Just a side note: On...

My doctor diagnosed me with fatty liver. Ursocol 150 has been prescribed along with Recool 40. ## Since the last 2 to 3 yrs., after each meal I was feeling pain as well as something like a cyst on the right side of my abdomen. After an ultrasonography test, it was determined that due to a fatty liver this problem persisted. Accordingly, my Dr. has prescribed Recool-40 before lunch and dinner, as well as Ursocol-150 after meals. Kindly let me know the side effects and use of both tablets. Please let me know whether Apple cider vinegar is also useful for these problems? I am also suffering from high b.p., diabetes and my weight is 101 kg. ## Are there any side effects associated with the long-term use of Ursocol 150 mg (two times daily)?

I take this tablet regularly for last 12 years as prescribed by the doctor. Hence, I would like to know the side effect of it. At present I appear to be o.k. ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was however able to locate some basic information on the drug: Cintapro contains the active ingredient Cinitapride. It is a gastroprokinetic agent and antiulcer agent of the benzamide class which is marketed in India, Mexico, Pakistan and Spain. Other brand/marketing names for this medication include: Blaston, Cidine, Cinmov...

I would just like to know can these be takeing together? one cilift and one obesan x cause on Friday night I was really sick and I only drank one cider? Could it have been the cider with the tablets or was it the 2 tablets takeing together. ## Hello, Sonja! How are you? I don't know about the Obesan-X, since it's not an actual medication. However, you really shouldn't drink while taking the Cilift, it contains Citalopram and taking it with alcohol could definitely have made you sick, because that will worsen the side effects from it. You may also experience more severe dizziness and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?
