Cefuroxime Axetil for simple collarbone fracture????
I am living in China so I always like to check things out ASAP when ever I have to see a doctor here. Anyhow my daughter, who is almost 18 months had a fall today and broke her collar bone. X-ray showed a nice clean break no problem so he recommended a brace which I expected but for some reason he also prescribed Cefureoxime Axetil 125mg. I of course just Googled this and I'm a bit surprised at him giving her an antibiotic. I don't speak Chinese but and my wife not knowing medical English just said it's supposed to help her blood. Considering the overuse and abuse of antibiotics in China and considering I have found no creditable reason for her to take it I am not giving it to her. I wanted to ask here does anyone know of a reason why this drug would be prescribed for a simp... ...

Oval shaped, white, tablet, Imprint: PE 626, prescibed for a sinus infection with an antibiotic. ## Duramax, PE 626 it says prescribed for a sinus infection with an antiotic. Does this mean along with a prescription for an antiobiotic? or is there antiobiotic in Duramax? I can't find Duramax information in any search engine and I'm waiting for my duramax prescription to be filled. ## Sorry, there is nothing listed in any of the databases I checked under that name or with that marking PE 626. I checked the FDA site and the only item under the trade name Duramax that they list in the US is a cardiac stent, not a pill. There is, however, a tablet marked with PE 616 that is called Duradex. So it might be possible you misunderstood the doctor's writing, or the pill markings were ... ...

Simvastatin Tablet Description
I have been taking simvastatin 20MG for sometime now and it was a tan round shaped tablet. I just start a new bottle refill that is described as a brick red oval shaped tablet. Have changes been made to this medication or do I have the wrong pills? ## Simvastatin is a generic medication, which is used to help lower cholesterol, and as a generic, it is manufactured by quite a few different companies. It is also normal for a pharmacy to switch their supplier, when they restock, if a different company is offering it cheaper. So, you probably do have the correct medication, just manufactured by a different company. There are 20mg Simvastatin tablets that meet the description you provided, but what are the markings on the tablets? If you can post back with this information, then I can check ... ...

blood test oxycontin how long can it be found
having back surgery, don't know if docter will check for oxy but I have no choice but to take a 40 M.G. once in a while, don't want to be dirty afraid he might cancel surgery. ## You need to tell your dr because it could cause problems with the anesthesia. ## BL is correct, this isn't something that you can keep hidden. Anytime you are going to be having anesthesia of any type, your doctor needs to know everything you're taking, even over the counter products. Anesthetics are very touchy and can have dangerous interactions with many medications. By not telling your doctor, you are risking your life, if they use the wrong one and it reacts badly with the Oxycodone. Learn more Oxycodone details here.
