Recently saw some ALL white (inside/out), CDN on one side, 80 on the other in Ontario, break up easily into powder. Has a slightly shiny coating. I believe these are China knock offs? Anyone have any ideas what is in these things? They do appear perfect...well made. The 8 is not bigger than the 0. The only thing that seems odd is there is a very small edge all the way around it...very small! Also the coating seems to have trapped some small powder dust under it...again you must look really close to notice. Looking at it in your hand...it looks identical to the green 80 CDN, only white! Any input would be appreciated...thx

Believed to be oxy 80 but can't find anything to support this as stated above it's a green round pill with an imprint underlined 'ON' one side and 80 on the other side. Must be a new company cuz mine were switched from OP to these ON ## Hi Ryan, I believe I have identified your pill as (80 mg) of Oxycontin (which contains Oxycodone). The imprint on Oxycontin's that are distributed to Canada is normally CDN and then a number for the milligram. The D looks a lot like an O though, so if the D were to get rubbed off it could easily look like ON. Do you think that could be the case? I was told it was Oxycontin SR 100mg, but it difffers in features from other Canadian pharmacy oxycontin. One side has 100 imprinted. However, instead of the CDN imprint, there are symbols or a logo on the other side. Looks a bit like a smiley face, but that depends on how you rotate the pill. Please see images below: ## The symbol on the back side of the pill appears to be a P, standing for the manufacturer Pharmascience. Here is an image from their site: If you visit their online product catalog at and then click on the letter T to view those medications, it is listed as Topiramate 100 mg. So it is not an Oxycodone. Pill is the same color all the way through! Never saw this with a Oc, Abg, or the CDN's years ago but I think they might be fake! Can u help me find out please! ## A person I know has the cdn green all the way through. They are and are not fake. To explain...there is an active opioid ingredient usually fentanyl or some benzodiazepine combo. Some actally contain oxy as well. The real ones just like usa made are white after removal of coating.....still worth it for most people ironically. I recommend not taking something you are not sure about for sake of harm reduction the ones I have seen.....today are still worth it. New England area near Canadian border. Personal experience with them

Anyone find that they are nothing compared to the old cdn 80s? ## To my understanding, Oxycodone is always going to be Oxycodone. There might be a small difference in binders and fillers that affect its overall bio-availability, but not much else. Here in the US, the FDA also permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. Not sure if this is a concern where you are, but in either case I'd imagine 'most' legitimate patients would only notice a subtle difference in potency between other brands.
