Hello fellow pain med users! I'd like to clear up any confusion. The yellow orange-ish pill with the imprinted V on one side and 4829 on the other is in fact oxycodone hydrochloride / acetaminophen 10/325. This means 10 mgs of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen. These are generic forms of percocet, roxicet. So yes, this is a perk 10, as people call it. The V everyone sees is actually an "N" standing for the brand name of certain medications "narcco" narcco is a company that manufactures pain medication and sells them at a generic price, thus reducing the cost of these prescription medication. Generic pills, such as this pill, have to have at least 99.9 percent of the makeup of the ungeneric brand ie. Roxicet. So you are getting the exact same thing, ...

Yellow, oblong V on one side, 4829 on the other. I have no idea if this is even a real pill. I've google'd it came up with Oxycodone and Acetaminophen 10/325, but cannot find a picture or any other kind of info.. I have 2 of them. The only difference is when you flip them, on one of them, the V will be right side up but the other side 4829 will be upside down. On the second pill, the V will be right side up, flip it, the 4829 will be right side up. If that makes any sense. I know that is one way to tell a fake from real but with these I have no idea because I don't even know if the pill is even a real pill period!! I've checked the manufacture website and there is absolutely nothing about a 4829, but there is a V 4839, but the pill is white and round. ## I'm sorry, I...

I am reading everywhere that the color should be orangish, and have seen pics online of them being orangish. The ones I have are more off white, but no where near orange. Hi, first time I was prescribed a round pill identified as v4839 Percocet 5mg. Now I have v4829 .. Saying its 325.10mg. I need to know if I can break it in half. 10 mg is to strong. Also my pills are white and the picture coming up on the website is yellow.. I always double check my scripts to make sure it's correct . Do you know why the internet shows yellow and why mine is white? ## These tablets are a light yellow. That probably explains why it appears to be white to you. Sometimes going outside and looking at it in the sunllight can help you see the light yellow. 4829 v is 10 mg oxycodone and 325 mg Acetaminophen. This is generic for Percocet 10/325. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. You can cut it in half because it is immediate release.

I have some PALE YELLOW, NOT Orange, PALE YELLOW colored V4829's.... can someone who is not color blind, as there is a BIG difference to what the color 'should be' and what it visually looks like on the internet.... tell me if these are real? ~ it's 'listed' as being yellow in color but they're CLEARLY more orange, in all the images I've looked at... Also, if they can vary in color but are the same strength, someone needs to clarify that... yellow is yellow.... orange is orange!! ~ ridiculous! ## You are correct, according to the pictures from the manufacturer, it does look more like dark yellow, or orange. Im wandering if the pill v 4829 comes in more than one color. Ive gotten then in past they were yellow orangish. I jus got sum that are a lighter yellow than usual?? ## Hello, Rich! How are you? I'm sorry, but I've been unable to find any information on this, the databases I've searched just list it as being yellow and nothing more specific. As long as they were obtained through a licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there most likely isn't anything to worry about. Color variations sometimes occur due to differences in the manufacturing process. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have taken many generic Percocet 10-325 made by different companies. Different size/shape/color. But these 4829 v seem to be stronger for some reason. Been taking pain meds for 30 years. So I know side effects are different sometimes. I have been light headed/anxious/hot/cold when I take 2. Don't have to often. But I usually stick with the every 4 hours regimen. This is the first time I have used this brand for my pain. Any suggestions? ## Has your doctor instructed you to take 2 of them? It is entirely normal to experience more side effects, if you raise your dosage. The FDA does list those as being normal side effects, you may also experience nausea, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? How often are you supposed to take them?

What is the difference between percocet ip204 and percocet? ## Hello, Reb! How are you? Both of these tablets contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so the only difference is that they've been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generic medications.
