There is a yellow capsule of vicodin, and I saw no mg on it. All other Vicodin I have seen are white. Vicodin is available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 750mgs of the Acetaminophen. Second, the color means nothing, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Third, they do not have to have the dosage on the tablet, just a unique imprint to enable its identification, in case of emergency. Thus, it is the imprint that tells us what it is. I get my pain meds through mail order. My prescription is for Percocet 10/325. In my order, one of the pills was a Vicodin and it has a red stain that swatches across the numbered side of the pill. Called my mail order pharmacy and they basically said that there was no way I could prove that they sent it to me that way. I took it in and showed my neurologist and he had no idea what the stain could be... He told me not to take it.....which I had already decided I wasn't going to anyway. Pretty screwed up though, to get not only the wrong medication, but one that has some strange red stain on the pill. I wish there were a way to attach a picture of it on here......
