I keep getting this sort of tickle in my throat and I have to cough. I keep coughing up this yellow phlem. If I am sitting or standing it's not too bad but as soon as I lay down it starts again. I have no soreness or pain anywhere just this arritating tickle in my throat. I am 72 y.o. and in good general health. I take Aprovil, Sotocor & Warfarin. I am about 18kg overweight.

I am out of the country and cannot see my regular doctor. I started with a cold and cough but it has gotten worse. I have sinus pressure, blowing yellow and green stuff, and coughing up yellow and green phlem. After being released from the hospital I was given Bactrim DS for a really nasty UTI (800mg 2x day for 10 days) told too drink plenty water... Well I took the prescription completely and doing everything I was told to do... After 3 weeks I am sick again !!!! I am still hurting in my left side but now have a really bad cough to where I can't sleep from coughing up my lungs it feels like (extreme head ache, green phlem, wheezing, wanting to rip anyone's head off) and I have had a rash twice now! Started on my hands went away and now on my throat, chest, and shoulders!!! After a $14,000 hospital bill I can't pay with no insurance. At the present moment I'm scared out of my mind. For myself & for everyone else out there using this dangerous drug ephedrine. I started using it in 2001 as an energy boost in the form of a diet pill called T 2's. I discovered it was removed because of the danger of stroke. Ya, Ya, whatever.
