Phenobarbital 30mg

Is there a change in the dosage of phenobarbital 30 mg and if so why aren't pharmacies and doctors on the same page. I have been waiting for 2 wks for my prescription to be filled. I have taken 30 mg for 40yrs for a seizure disorder. I find this irresponsible on all levels, my health has been put at risk with everyone just shrugging their shoulders. ## Hi, Margy! My RX always reads 30mg phenobarbital (54 years now). I see I am now taking 32.4mg. Pharmacy claims only pheno. available is 32.4mg. Is there a difference? I have been taking 32.4 approx. 4 months. ## Hello, Lew! How are you? Well, the dosage is different, but that's it. It is still the same medication, it's just that many other dosages have been removed from the market. Are you doing well on the 32.4? ## Yes. No problems since Aug. 2008. Before that it was 16 years.

Pd 700 is phenobarbital 32 mg ## As a minor correction to your post, this is actually Phenobarbital "30mg", and not 32mg. I think this particular imprint has been discontinued; but it was manufactured by PD pharmaceuticals. For details and information about this drug, please refer to the link below... What is the name of this pill and what is it used for? It has 252 on top and 0401 on the bottom. ## From what I've found, this is an older tablet that's listed as containing 30mgs of Phenobarbital, which is most commonly used as an anticonvulsant.
