Found some Phendimetrazine capsules my doc prescribed last year. Wondering if they are still ok to take or would they be expired? They are black on kne half and clear kn the other with G5254 on it. ## The pill you're describing is actually imprinted "E5254" and has been identified as Phendimetrazine tartrate extended-release 105 mg. However based on my research, this particular medication is listed as having an estimated shelf life of 2-5 years under proper storage conditions. Also, according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. I take 4-6 pills every day, 50 mg for every pill, & every month I go to my doctor for a prescription. I was taking this pill to lose weight. How long after you stop taking it will it be out of your body? ## It usually takes about 4 days for these types of stimulants to process out of the body. ## If Phendimetrazine tartrate 35mg was taken 3 times in one day, how long will it take to come out of my system and no longer feel the effects? I have been taking Phendimetrazine for 8 years gradually increasing my dose as needed, having no idea how dangerous this medication can be. It's gotten so bad I started seeing multiple medical clinics each month just to get enough to feel normal. I was up to 18 a day and decided I had to stop. Over the past 5 months, I have been trying to stop and have been unable to. When I do stop, I have no energy, constantly want to crawl out of my skin and the emotional pain is too much to bear. I started taking phendimetrazine approximately a month ago and I have lost 15 lbs so far without dieting. I got birth control today (Ortho Tricyclen), but I'm afraid to take them because I'm scared it will affect my weight loss. How should I feel when I first take phendimetrazine? I'm not jittery or full feeling. Is it working? I really can't tell if it is working. Does anyone know of anyone who used Phendimetrazine (ingredient in MANY diet tabs with different names) during pregnancy? My pregnancy was diagnosed late and I used diet tablets containing phendimetrazine, which (possibly) has resulted in my child having severe developmental delays and other problems. The reason for her condition cannot be linked to any known disease, or disorder, genetic or otherwise. I never take more than 2 or 3 daily, sometimes none and often just 2 in the mornings. I have dry macular degeneration and high risk for dry macular degeneration, am 75 years old.
