My mom is on pharmapress 10 & takes 1 twice a day, morning and night. Every now and again I've noticed she's taken an extra one(I think she's developing Alzheimer's). What I would like to know is if this can have bad side effects and if so,what would they be? She's 75 years old & her blood pressure was 270/135. The pharmapress has taken it down to 136/85 which the doctors say is normal. Do I need to hide this medication from her. Concerned ## There is a risk of her blood pressure and heart rate dropping too low, if she takes too much. If that occurs, she would probably show danger signs, which the FDA lists as possibly including extreme dizziness, drowsiness, fainting and shallow breathing. If such symptoms are severe enough, it could result in death. Given h...

I am 41 years old. My doctor prescribed me adco-bisocor 10 after I have given birth stillborn prematurely caused by high blood pressure, and the clinic also prescribed me redig 25 and pharmapress 10. Then i asked the doctor about these two prescriptions from the clinic and he told me to use it as well, but I feel side effects of dizziness, painful feet, weaknesses in my knees and arms, and irregular heart beating. Is it right to continue with all the doses at one time or can I reduce adco-bisocor to 5mg? Also, can I use adco-bisocor during my pregnancy period?

I was placed on coveram 10/10, but can't always afford it, can I use phaemapress 10 my in the meantime, until I can afford it again, , couple off years ago, I used a different high blood pressure tablet, with ridaq and something to prevent gout ( can't remember those names), what is your suggestion, for me to do ## I would suggest speaking to your doctor to ask them about prescribing a more affordable option. They shouldn't have a problem doing so, especially since having you on one medication consistently is better than having you switching regularly due to high prices. Typical side effects of medications for high blood pressure may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Are you on any other medications?
