My doctor increased the amount of Percocet I get for the month. It's been 2 weeks since it was filled, and by the increase, I would be out; My pharmacy said the insurance won't allow it to be filled until it's been a month. Any other time this has happened they have given it to me without any issue. It's from the same doctor. So, I wanted to know if they are suppose to fill it or am I going to have to wait 2 more weeks? I have been taking percocet 10-325 for the last few years for chronic pain. My pharmacy up and changed to another brand that does not help me at all. The ones I used to take were also generic but they helped so much more, they were the yellow ones. I tried talking to the pharmacist about this and he claimed there should be no difference. I have researched this and it does in fact make a difference. I'm hoping someone out there can please help me find a pharmacy near Ogden, UT that carries the yellow ones. Not everyone is seeking to feel high! Some people just had major surgery on their arm in which they are dependent on a powerful pain reliever to be able to function, combined with physical therapy! Until you have sustained an injury such as this, please don't judge! In my opinion, or at least my situation, I was prescribed a prescription to Percocet, in which I was given Oxycodone, which I believe to be the same active ingredient as Percocet and Oxycontin, except with the anti-inflammatory of acetaminophen. I recieved a white tablet with the marking watson 322 on the one side and nothing on the other side. My Prescription was for Percocet 10's I don't think they are. I have had problems with this pharmacy before. Giving me prescriptions that I didn't think were the real thing. I have a prescription for 100 percocet 10mg. I am in st Petersburg fl. I have been driving around for 2 days trying to get it filled. Thanks! ## I think that many people forget that Sam's Clubs have a pharmacy and if you pay for a membership $35 I think each year then they run your card to get a nice discount. Since these Clubs are membership only they tend to not have as many hangups or crazy rules on prescribing Narcotics of any kind. Alvogen Percocet (generic manufacturer) has worked very effectively for me, for 9 years. I am in search of this particular generic brand in the Palm Beach, FLA. Area. My Publix pharmacy does not stock this brand anymore and thus switched to a different generic brand.

Can anyone tell me how well Purdue 10 mg percocet works? I currently take Mallinkrodt in the 525s because my pharmacy can’t get any other brand in a higher dose. Was prescribed 725’s and my pharmacy stsrted giving me Amneal. I knew that something was not right because they not only made me sick (nauseous and headache), they were not effective. Mallinkrodt work good for me, but would like to take less pills as I have to get the 525’s and cut them in half. I may need to jump to the 10 mg, but my pharmacy can only get Purdue. I can’t find any info on how well they work. What is the most effective 725s and 10s??

When I filled my RX at the first of Jan, the pharmacist warned me it was a different manufacturer so it would look different. I immediately saw a difference. It was not combating my pain, and I was having severe headaches. I was suspicious of the pharmacist, at first, because this medication has been in short supply (at least in this area), and was forced to go to a Walgreens across town, where I was treated like a criminal, despite the fact my regular Walgreens had called. Well once again I've been duped because Walmart wants to buy the cheapest non-effective brands possible for people who actually have pain. These RP brand generic percocets are absolutely useless but as long as the maker and the distributor are making money that's all that matters...... I just got my script filled in SC. Wal Mart. They have their own distribution system. Check there. I have a large amount of pills and pain. They told me they had the entire script. 360 pills. I have psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I've always been prescribed Percocet 10/325 for my pain. This morning my pharmacy told me that the price has increased by $2.00 by my insurance company (UHC) has not yet adjusted their coverage price. Therefor my prescription for 120 Percocets (or generic) will be $240. I find this to be unbelievably irresponsible of you and your associate manufacturers. taste like baking soda when i chew them up,,,,i have chewed my pain meds for years and never had pills taste like baking soda ## If you're not getting your prescriptions filled at a licensed pharmacy I would question whether you got taken advantage of with counterfeits. Have you considered getting the pills analyzed by a lab to find out what's in it? Did you receive a prescription bottle with a manufacturer's name or any other pertinent details regarding their origin? My hope for your sake is that they're not poisonous or laced with something. I'd definitely determine what it is you're taking BEFORE chewing it up... even if it means sending it in to a lab and waiting a couple weeks.
