Pharmacy In Fl

Every month I try to fill my norco 10 mg pain meds and every month the pharmacist tells me the same thing sorry we are not getting our order until next week! Well what do you do with the pain until then? I live in Waldorf mad and never had this problem in Fl ## THIS IS HAPPENING ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, especially if you are dealing with Walgreens. they have a secret filling policy and if they have told you no or denied to fill your script for whatever b.s. reason they tell . Those that are fortunate (in disguise fortunate . they will cause you problems i.e. calling your dr ) you can be lucky and they fill for you but their secret filling policy guides the pharmacy to stop filling controlled substances after 6 months. does anyone know any ohio pharmacys that fill florida oxy scripts ## Unfortunately, it is very doubtful that you're going to find one that will do so. With all of the new regulations in place, pharmacies have to be very careful and most will not fill any prescriptions for controlled substances that come from outside of a certain local radius. If so, then you may do better asking them if they have a preferred mail order pharmacy, as that will likely garner your better luck for getting them filled.

Hi my husband is disabled, he has been having no luck filling his roxy 30s. He was going to a wal-greens, but unfortunantly we live in S. Fla, so pharmacies down here pick & choose. Anyway he has humana disability insurance, they told him to send his persciptions in so he did, but he had told them every one of his scripts & where he lives, now they filled his non narcotics and said they cant do the narcotic because of where we live. Now since they filled his nons, he cant do anything with what he really needs. I have gotten my pain meds and 3 others filled with mail order. Now I need a local pharmacy to fill my 5 meds, 2 are pain meds. Any help would be great. Publix pharmacy on Babcock Road in Melbourne, Florida has had Dilaudid for the past several months. They have 8mg only, no 4's ## @paw, I think the best way to know for certain if any pharmacy in particular has something in stock or not, is to actually go there in person with your script in hand. Generally if you call and ask over the phone about availability they will more than likely say that they don't have any, since the pharmacy has no real way of knowing whether your an honest patient or someone who's potentially trying to rob them. This creates a sticky situation, because nobody enjoys driving around town for hours seeing who has what and when they might have it. Even if Publix truly does carry Dilaudid on a more frequent basis, you'd still have to check in person...

My husband finally got into a pain management doctor. He is a veteran and is part of the medical VA mess. I've been getting this for years at Walgreens in Tavares FL and they always have it for me when the day comes for the next Rx but this month they said they cannot order it. They said it's not available from their distributor. Suggested I go to a private pharmacy instead of chain. I called the and they said they would order it and I could pick it up the next day but they didn't get it. Said they can't get it from distributor and substituted a patch made by Apotex. If you're just calling around, then you aren't likely to get an honest answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer, or a potential thief. I have been on rox and oxy for the past 10 years before all this drama started. Back when you could find out if the pharm could fill the script via phone. My Dr. is obviously the one privy to my medical records and therefore is thoroughly informed of my condition, and is most qualified to prescribe what is necessary. Lately Pharmacists are playing God while simultaneously failing the medical community especially the people that are in severe pain. A Pharm now trumps any MD or specialists (when a pharmacist can't even write a script lacking a medical degree) .WTF! If your current doctor isn't close to one, then that would mean that you would have to switch doctors and then, there's no guarantee that you'd still be prescribed the same medications. I have been trying to find a pharmacy in Bradenton that will fill my prescriptions for OxyContin ER 60mg one every 12 hours and Morphine Sulfate IR 15 mg three times daily for breakthrough pain. I just finished changing insurance policies, the agent along with myself noticed what the Pharmacist charged me, and what they charged them was completely different. I just received my new norco prescription 120 pills and it has been 28 days not 30. Cvs always makes me wait the 30 days. Does anyone know of a pharmacy that will fill a few days early and takes insurance in the Pearland, League City, Pasadena, or Houston area? ## whoa, there are aloT OF PPL that cannot find a dr to prescribe this medication. I've been getting my scripts filled at my local CVS for over a year, and now they tell me they might not get them anymore. All the other pharmacies I've tried that have them in stock, they charge 4.45 per pill! That would be over $700 for me!
