I believe you're referring to the tablet with the PAR 821 marking and I'm sorry, but there is no listing of which pharmacy carries a medication from any specific manufacturer. I filled a prescription of Tramadol from Mexico & the brand is Adiolol 100 mg capsules. There are no markings on the capsules & they're white. Anyone know if these are legitimate? Just concerned about the reliability. ## Unfortunately, there is no way to be sure, that is the hazard of filling a prescription in a foreign country. Their medications are not as strictly regulated as those under the auspices of the FDA. If you received it from a legitimate pharmacy, with a good reputation there, then most likely they are real, but there's no way to be certain, unless you would have them tested by a lab. A quick search doesn't even turn up anything under this name, but the databases that I use are geared towards U.S. approved medications. The FDA warns that Tramadol carrie...

Hell I have a m t7 but have been taking the 319 for some time. What is the difference between these two. ## Hello, Romeo! How are you? They have just been manufactured by different companies, which is normal with generic medications. They are usually manufactured by several different companies, which creates market competition to help keep prices down. The one your pharmacy carries may change, at any given time, depending on who might be offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I pulled a muscle in my lower back and am in a lot of pain but am unemployed at the moment and can't afford to see a doctor and fill a new prescription. I found an old bottle of Tramadol HCL 50 MG with an expiration date of 3/22/2007. It has been stored in a cool, dark, dry cabinet all of this time. Does Tramadol HCL become unsafe or lose its potency after its expiration date, especially this long after? ## Unsafe: No. Loss of potency: Yes (to a degree)! In the original factory sealed bottles that your pharmacy receives, most medications are touted to only be good for 3 years. Once those are opened and they are placed in a bottle that exposed them to heat and light, they're subject to degrade faster and will lose potency. On the contrary however, something to keep in mind is tha...

I got a script of 50 tramadol on the 21st of April. When is a good time to get it refilled? I was to take one to two 3 times a day. ## Refill depends on the NUMBER OF TABLETS your original script called for divided by six. That's the number of days coverage you have beginning on April 21st. ## It can also depend on how the prescription was written. If it to be taken on an as needed basis, then your doctor may expect it to last longer than the division would imply. However, this is a controlled substance, since the FDA classifies it as an opioid, so your pharmacy won't let you get it filled too early. It is warned that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I ca...

HELP,,,,,i went to my pain management appointment today and they post dated my scripts out 2 days. they told me they changed their policy and they no longer schedule patients every 28 days but now every 30. Unfortunately I'm out of my medication and on my scripts, it does say "do not fill til 1-14-11" at the bottom even though the scripts are dated today. I went to several pharmacies and they said they can not fill it til the 14th? my concern is now going thru withdrawl. is there any pharmacies that will overlook that small print on the bottom that says not to fill til the 14th? I am a cash pay customer and am in the tampa area. Please help.... ## Secret.... if you get ultram, aka Tramadol you will not suffer from withdrawl. This med is not hard to find from friends or call ...

I recently ordered my pain med, Tramadol, from what seemed like a licensed pharmacy. I have filled it from Europe & can always verify it's a legitimate brand as it comes from a licensed pharmacy & is marked by the pharmaceutical company. I decided to fill my rx from Canada as the order & delivery is much simpler. Well, I received my prescription today. White tablets, zero markings! Any way of verifying whether they are legitimate?

My Dr. put me on tramadol 50mg 2 every 6hours.I was on codeine #3 but the VA pharmacy ran out and wont have them till Feb. My question is will I have any bad affects switching from codeine #3 to tramadol 50 mg thanks for your help. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? It only takes 45mgs of the Tramadol to equal each 30mgs of Codeine that you were taking, so you may actually get better pain relief from taking 100mgs of it. And the side effects should be about the same, the FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## thanks for your help. ## You are very welcome! Are there any other questions or con...

I filled a prescription on April 21st 2017 that said "must last 30 days". So starting on the 21st of April and counting 30 days, my 30th day seems to be on the 20th of May. Is this correct? ## Yes, you are correct, your pharmacy should be able to alert you, when you are due for a refill. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is the color for 37.5-325? ## My Mother (Yes, it's Mother's Day) was taking Tramadol APAP, 37.5 mg, for many months with apparently good results. However, a refill came back with a different colored and shaped tablet and has caused her nausea. The original one was an oval, orange tablet with 083 embossed on one side and the letters KALI on the other. Does anyone know where to find this particular brand of Tramadol? Thank you, for my Mom. ## That is because you were given a different version of this drug in generic form with a different manufacturer. I would call the pharmacy that dispensed you the orange colored tablets and ask them which manufacturer made it, and if they can order it for her for the refills, since the other is giving her unnecessary side effects. Happy Mot...

Is Tramadol HCL manufactured by HAB Pharmaceuticals legitimate? I have a round white tablet with no imprint other than a slash mark across it on one side...? ## @Panzer, Based on my own investigations HAB Pharmaceuticals does appear to be a legitimate drug manufacturer. You can email HAB Pharmaceuticals directly at [email protected], to find out if it's truly something they make. On the other hand, the validity of the pill itself will probably depend on where/how you came about receiving it (i.e. having your Rx filled at a licensed pharmacy v.s. being purchased on the web). If the latter of the two, then there's no honest way of knowing what you have unless you get it analyzed by a lab. Counterfeits these days can look just like the real thing, so retrieving some harder evidence...

I contacted the pharmacy that I have used for tramadol the last year or so to see if they were still offering tramadol. I was told they would ship me the same med for the same price but it would now be labeled as gabapentin instead. Has anyone else come across this and actually recieved tramadol? I've been with this pharmacy for awhile but I don't know if it's dependable with the changes last month. What does everyone think? ## Hi Missy, As far as the pharmacy labeling Tramadol as Gabapentin, there's no logical reason for them to do that unless they're trying to hide something. I mean, why not just leave it blank or write Tramadol on the bottle instead of putting a misleading label on it, ya know? I'm assuming that you're not ordering your meds legally with a...

can they be taken together and if not why would the give them without knowing the effect ## Hi Dawn! Did u get your medication from the same Doctor? If so, then he/she wouldn't give u anything that couldn't be taken together. Your Doctor knows all the medication u are on. Besides, the pharmacy watches out for those things, too. ## Hello, Dawn! How are you? Most doctors don't actually know the potential interactions, they are taught what medications are for, but not much beyond that. Normally, that is something your pharmacist would handle. And yes, there is actually a risk of developing Serotonin Syndrome from combining these, since they all have an effect on its levels in the body and that can be cumulative from all of them. I'd suggest having a serious discussion with ...

I am out of my hydrocodone... Can I take tramadol temporarily until I get my prescription? I'm used to taking 10-325s. These tramadol are 37.5-325. How do I take this? Please help! In chronic pain. ## Tramadol is a serotonin drug. My Hubby takes 1 tab every 6 hours. But they are 50 mg tabs. I would NOT go over the one every six hours. But if you taken another drug that has anything to do with serotonin receptors are involved. I wouldn't take. You would be in far more trouble with serotonin poision then your chronic pain. Call your pharmacy if you don't want to call your doctors office. Or just pick a random pharmacy. Better to call and ask them end up in the ER. Please be safe. Call first. I'm not a doctor or in the medical field. Just another person with chronic pain. #...

I have the above which was prescribed for pain for surgery I had in 2011. Is this drug still safe and effective? ## Hello, Trina! How are you? If it is in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, then it would have expired one year from the date it was dispensed to you. After that, it begins to lose potency and will not work as well. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This medication was used and there is still half the medication left will the pharmacy take them back and replace them if I pay for it

I have been on tramadol for many years, usually the Mylan brand ( a round flat pill with an M on one side and T7on the other). I have never has any issues, It has always worked well with no problems. Last month, my pharmacy switched to a horrible cheaper generic ( a larger capsule shaped pill with 377 on it, made by Caraco. I started noticing that i was in increasing amounts of pain and had other issues. It was making me miserable and upset. I asked my sis who had gotten the same kind (377) of inferior tramadol if she was having problems too and was having the same issues. We both returned the defective tramadol to the pharmacy and got our regular brand and were back to normal within hours. So PLEASE be aware that 377 tramadols by Caraco are NOT the same quality as others. i would avoid...

I am taking the tramadol tablet with 58 on one side & TV on the other. I've been taking tramadol for about 4 months. I picked up a refill today and the difference is this group of tramadol is bigger than my normal prescription. By the way, I went to a new pharmacy, but that shouldn't matter right? ## Yes, Teva Pharmaceuticals list this tablet as containing 50mgs of Tramadol. Variations in size can occur due to the use of different inactive ingredients. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How is it working for you, so far?

My Doctor prescribed Tramadol 50 mg tablet for pain of a torn tendon. I'm trying to find out if there is any pork or gelatin in the making of this product. I am very allergic to pork or gelatin. Can you give me this information? ## Hi Cathy, sorry to hear about your injury. To answer your question, there are actually many generic manufacturers of Tramadol 50 mg, so I would first need to know which version you are being dispensed in your prescription. Could you by chance provide the name of the manufacturer, or even better, the NDC Code from your prescription label? ## I haven't fill my prescription until I found out whether it had pork in it. But I did contact my pharmacy and they called the manufacturer and they said they don't use pork but use bovine instead. So thanks so ...
