Please help. I have abnormal periods, like some months i have it twice. Is this normal? And secondly, i have had pains, but recently i even felt like i had to vomit and nothing came out. Is this normal as well? I have clots but also less blood, and i went for a papsmere. It came back negative but there were 2 findings - 1) moderate blood & 2) moderate inflammation. Is this normal too? Please help. I dont really understand this but it hurts as we speak. I normally go for 5 days for my periods and spend 1 day in pain, but this time it's been 2 full days. I need help.

I have been suffering from period pains ever since I started my menstrual cycle and now everytime I go to my periods, always on the first day I see brown blood so I want to know if this is normal and what can I take for these pains to stop because when ever I start having period pains, I take any and every pain reliever I can get my hands on at that moment . Please help... ## Hello, Noble! How are you? Yes, brown blood is normal, it's just a little that's been left-over from the prior month that didn't come out, so it got a bit old and discolored, but it's nothing to worry about. As to the pain, what medications have you tried? Have you considered seeing if you have something available to you such as Midol, or an equivalent? It may help, if your doctor approves of you tr...

Im on day 6 and Im getting sharp pains in my legs, the thighs and calves they even make ya jerk your leg they hurt so bad, then they will go away lasting maybe 3-5 sec. and just periodically through the day.Is this a side affect or just restless legs? ## I am only on day 5, but the first couple of days my right leg appeared to be suffering from restless leg syndrome. Haven't had any issues since day 3 but if it happens again I will be calling the doctor. ## No, this isn't listed under any of the known side effects for Chantix. Learn more Chantix details here. Although it has been reported by many people that have been taking it. Have you consulted your doctor about it? ## If you are having muscle twitches or spasms, this could be a...

Hi,iv been using nustrate for like 3 years now and suddenly I'm experiencin period pains and when I check I'm on them but they look brownish, and its 4 the 1st tym.wat myt b da problem? ## Hello, Confused! How are you doing? The pain/cramping can happen at any point in your life, if your hormone levels fluctuate. Generally, brown blood is old blood that wasn't fully eliminated during your last cycle, so it's being cleaned out during this one. Have they been lighter than usual? That frequently causes it. Have you consulted your doctor? Having them check things out would be the best idea.

Hi Ladies and Gents, Please i have been nursing angina pains for the past two - three years now. I have been religiously taking my recommended tablet (Nitromin) tablet 5 mg initially and currently the Nitromin Spray. My concern is that this medication no longer has good control as it was before. I was advice that body systems have outgrown the drug. Please advice. ## Have you consulted your doctor? Yes, it is normal for your body to eventually get used to any medication, in a certain dosage, that you have been taking for a long period of time. This means you should consult your doctor, as you may require a medication dosage adjustment, or a switch to a different medication.

Have you consulted your doctor?

I've been on nur isterate for 11 years now. Since i've started i had no periods. Today i have signs of periods with terrible pains. Is this normal? ## Did you start your period? Or did you just have cramping and pain? The hormone levels in your body can change as you age, which could change how this contraceptive affects you. Has anything else changed recently? Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted your doctor? ## What was your experience when you stopped using nur-isterate (re: withdrawal symptoms)? Did you lose or gain weight? And how long did it take for your period to come back? ## Hey, so I started using the 2 month nur-isterate inj. in October. This year in February I had unprotected intercourse, then went to get my 3rd shot the next day. I didn't get my...

I was taking a birthcontrol , n then I switched to another pill brand before my period started . N now I have all the pains like I'm going to start but nothing. So I'm continuing to take the pill n also saw on line that taking 3000mgs of vitamin -c will bring down your period . So I'm trying that now I'm on day 2 of taking vitamin -c . I took a test n I'm not pregnant . Do you think it's because I switched brands at the wrong time. I've never experienced this before so I'm freaking out . ## Hello, Garcia! How are you? First, that is just a myth about vitamin C, it will not actually bring on your period. As to the oral contraceptives, yes. It is most likely due to your switching, especially if the hormone levels in the new one are different than those in t...

Hi, I had a yeast and bacterial infection and was told by my doctor to take flagyl comp for 10 days. I don't know if it will affect my period because it has never been missed before. My period came two days after it was delayed, but with much pain and it didn't flow well either. I don't know if I might be pregnant? ## Antibiotics can cause you to experience a longer cycle, in other words a delay to the start of your period, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? Did you try a pregnancy test? ## My menstrual cycle is on the 2nd of May but I am having pains without any flow. Can Flagyl help my period flow regularly?

In past months if I accidentally missed a pill, I would double up the next day, but then would have violent pains and vomiting. This past month, I accidentally missed a pill and decided to avoid the extreme illness (since I was probably throwing up the dose anyway), and I skipped the one I missed and went on to the next one. My period came a week early, and I have had spotting ever since, and now have an acne flare up. What does this mean and what should I do? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? That is normal, if you miss a tablet. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms. It may take a month, or so, for your hormones to balance back out and for things to return to normal. It's generally nothing to worry about, unless your doctor think...

I have been taking synthroid for 10 years and have not had this symptom. ## I also have been on levothyroxine sssynthroid for a long period and also suffer sever arm pains in both arms ## I have also been on simvastatin fo a long time now and went off it do to kidney problems thats what iwas told by the dr. ## Are you on any other medications? I went to the Dr 2 months back to ask about my period pains and my skin problem and he said my skin will be fine and prescribed the right medicine that doesn't have any side effects. Even now I get good results to my skin but the problem is when I told him about my abnormal period pains he prescribed Adco-Mefenamic Acid 250mg and said if I get any pains I should take 2 tablets 3 times a day and it just so happens that I get pains at night and I decided to take 2 tablets, but because of the unusual stomach cramps I stopped taking the pills..That was the last time i saw my periods. I missed my periods last month but before taking the pills I got my periods and I did not have any intercourse with my partner for the past 3 months..I'm really confused and stressed. I have not had a cycle since having my son a year ago. I also have PCOS. I have taken 5mg Norethisterone tablets 3 times a day for 5 days. It has been 3 days now and although I had period pains on the last day of the tablets I have no signs of my period arriving. Do you think my dose was high enough? Many thanks. ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Is that the dose your doctor advised you to take? Generally, missing your periods isn't a problem, unless you're trying to get pregnant again, so it's not anything to worry about. However, most women do get their periods about 3 days, or so, after stopping it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Are you on any other medications? ## I also take metf...

Hi I had a pain in my hip joint and the doctor gave me, Ibunate 200mg tablets and Vitamin B com. The pain got better after few days and now it came back in my sacroiliac joints. I don't know if I should take enough rest for a week to heal and take naproxen or go back to the doctor. One question though, what courses such pains and how should I prevent them in the future. ## There are many things that could cause such issues, according to NIH reports, including heavy lifting, being on your feet for a long period of time, and other medications you might be taking. What did you doctor think might be the cause? Has there been any change, yet? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions? Do you take any medications regularly?

How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA, you may also experience nausea, headache, and spotting. It is hard to say whether or not you will get your period, it can sometimes take a few months for things to regulate and balance out. How old are you?
