Period Before The Last Pill

For the past 2 months, my period has started 1 or 2 days before the light blue inactive pills. Is this normal? ## Hello, Jenn! How are you? Yes, that can happen and is generally nothing to worry about, as long as your most recent pap smear was normal. Unless your doctor feels that there is some reason to be concerned. Aside from breakthrough bleeding, the FDA lists the other side effect of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, PMS-like symptoms and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Im just confused as to this pack and if I'm doing something wrong. My period has started on the 2 white pills and 2 pink pills before but that didn't last. It now always comes on 3rd week during the blue pills instead of from what I've been reading the "2 white 2 pink pills" and it's longer then I've ever had it? I started taking bc a few years ago in order to regulate my abnormal period which back then was usually a couple of weeks long and very painful. I switched to minastrin 24 fe in July after getting a new obgyn. Everything was fine for a while, I have not missed any pills and I have taken them about the same time everyday. Last month I went on a cruise for a week and during that cruise I took the last pill in my pack and have yet to get a refill but have not been intimate since finishing. I just started taking Lo Loestrin Fe (still in the first week of my first pack). I took the first pill when I started spotting about a week before I expected my period. I wasn't too surprised by this due to my heavy and irregular periods, which are half the reason I'm taking this birth control. However, the spotting lasted less than a day. I've continued taking the pills since then and have been experiencing side effects such as nausea, tender breasts, moodiness, and fatigue. I am bleeding 9-10 days before period starts. The bleeding is brown, sometimes brown dry spotting or is brown and wet. It is light to medium bleeding. Enough to use a pantyliner. I get achy type of PMS pain and my ovary areas feel sensitive. I feel slightly fatigued. So it is similar PMS pain but to a lesser extent. This bleeding lasts about 1-3 days. I missed two pills and will take two pills tomorrow to get back on schedule, I was wondering when to expect my period and how bad it would be this month? I'm just a little confused here. I just switch from Trust Pill to Micropil. The instructions with Micropil says to start taking it on the 5th day of your menstruation, but the thing is my period only lasts for 3 days (I have 28 days cycle). So my period started on a Feb. 7 (Saturday) and ended on Feb. 9 (Monday) and started taking the pill on Feb 11 (Wednesday) which is day 5 from my period. Did took the pills correctly? Hi, This is my first time taking birth control period. I started the pack on the 21st of last month. I finished the brown pills & started the new pack a few days ago. Was I supposed to wait for my period to come before starting the new pack? Or am I ok? ## Hello, Whit! How are you? No, you are fine, you are supposed to continue to the new pack, regardless of whether or not you have a period. Some women don't have them, while taking oral contraceptives. Hello, I've been taking the ortho pill for a good 6 months and I've recently been switched to the sprintec pill. I had my period on the 8th of June. It is now the 23rd. I started taking sprintec last sunday. It was fine the first week of the white pills but I missed two yesterday and the day before because of work... and today I was intimate with my boyfriend but he didn't climax inside of me... hi im using diane pill for almost 7 years i stopped last Sept 2015 i had a period but its only for 2 days fewer than regular this month Oct 2015 i had period but only 1 day? is it normal. i had read some article that some who had stopped using this pill it takes a month before having a period..Is it normal?

I've been in loestrin 24 for a year now, possibly a year and a half. My boyfriend and I are active and we use pull-out with the birth control. I'm on my last day of white pills today and yesterday I started getting a brown spotting, like the beginning of my period, and now when I woke up today it was dark red and kind of clumpy (sorry) like it was the beginning of my period. I've never had my period start before my placebo pills, usually on the third brown pill is when it starts. I had my period normally last month, then this month - 10 days before I was supposed to get my period - I started spotting, and just thought it was during ovulation. I quit taking my pills in March and should have started my period April 6th and it hasn't come yet. Before I started taking the pills my periods were extremely irregular and almost never occured. I started the pills and they were right on every month and never late or early. I skipped the brown placebo pills back in Dec. and Jan. because my period came on the first day of the last white pills. I am 39, I've been on LoEtrin Fe and later Minastrin Fe for several years. I've always has some sort of period, even if it's just light for one or two days, usually some slight cramping but nothing like without the Pill, until about April or May, when I seemed to spot for a week before, had nothing the week of the iron pills, and then went right back to my regular schedule of white pills.
