I drank 2 Althea pills immediately right after intercourse. This will prevent me from getting pregnant right? I've been taking it until today but my period hasn't come yet and it's been two weeks. I am on Sprintec birth control, and I am always bad with taking my pills, and this month I have tried to given myself my period early and I have not had my period. I have had no intercourse/oral and I had to take a pregnancy test last month and it showed up negative and I had a period last month that was slightly worse then my others. I have also had weird things happen like cramps in the morning, and back pain, but I think my back pain is from me getting off my bunk bed is a weird way. The pack starts from Sunday Week 1 so should I wait till the next Sunday and start with the the second row of the pack (week2) or start with the first pill of the pack or skip the number of pills equivalent to the number of days that passed since the first day of my period? hi. i had my menstruation on january 1 and it ended january 5. i had intercourse 2 days after but it was protected. then I decided to take nordette 21 4 days after. i was not on my period and it said to take the first pill on the first day of period but i took it anyway. will this still be effective? ## Will nordette 21 be still effective even you started taking it not on the first day of your period (but within the scope of 72hrs after intercourse)? I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe for 3 years now and have only missed one or two pills ever, but not recently. I got my period when I was supposed to for the first time in months. It came 9/1-9/3. I have been on this pill for 11 months now... since September 2014. My periods were irregular at first but started to become more regular. In the middle of June I missed 2 pills in a row. I took them both the next day however. I then started my period a week early right after I took those 2 pills late (I was camping with girls who were on their period, so I figured that's why I started early). Hi I have been using oralcon for a year now for the past month I missed my period and this month I bleed for one day only is it normal or thers something wrong. ## That can happen, sometimes, when you're taking hormonal contraceptives. As long as you haven't missed any and been engaging in intercourse, you shouldn't have to worry about pregnancy. If it continues for another month or two, then you should have it checked out.
