yellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. I just want to be sure its a percocet before i take it as i have had many bad reactions to other pills and this is the one that i have not. I plan on only taking half, which is what i do when i am in extreme pain, yet still need to function, but do not want an adverse reaction if this is not a percocet. The percs i am used to taking are normally white and round (generics) someone please assure me this is an actual percocet. ## Yes, there are 2 yellow, oblong name brand Percocet tablets that say Percocet on one side. One of them contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the other contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, however, with...

I have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. The NDC link also contains a list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps!

I am prescribed Norco 10 mg and I get the V 3601 yellow ones from time to time...so they are hydocodone 10mg and acetaminophen 325 mg not percocet which contain oxycodone ## Hello, Nic! How are you? Yes, you are correct. Thanks for sharing this information to help others. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything I can help with?

Is there a perocet 10 mg that is yellow with just a marking of a v on it. No other markings ## Hello, Mark! How are you? No, but there is a 200mg caffeine tablet that matches this description that's available over the counter. Depending on the style of the V, it could be a name brand Vivarin tablet, or one of the many generic or store brands of it. Learn more Caffeine details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Lortab 10 comes in an oval yellow pill with a V one side and 36|01 on the other side. ## Hello how do you know what pill is a better pill, I was taking oxycodone a 333 then the pharmacist gave me Oxy U17. Now they have given me a yellow round pill with 230 on one side I don't like all these changes and would like to just know which is the better product.

Hi, I am taking Percocet 10/325 for back, hip and leg pain. I recently had a multiple level Lamonectomy. When I was first prescribed this medication the pills were oblong and white. The next prescription that was filled was percocet 10/325 as well, however they were round, yellow and they seemed so much stronger. The white ones I had in the first prescription seemed to leave a lot of white residue in my medicine bottle. The yellow did not. The yellow round ones relieved my pain much better and I did not have to take as often. Both being generic and were 10/325 could it be the way they metabolize in your system? Could it be that they have different inactive ingredients? Thanks in advance. ## There can slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to the oth...

i have a prescription for percocet 10/325 does anyone know who carries these in philadelphia, pa? ## Hello, Chop! How are you? You're just going to have to try various pharmacies in your area. There is no listing of which pharmacy has any given medication in stock and, since this is a narcotic, calling them won't get you a real answer, since they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is potential thief or legitimate customer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ok the yellow oblong 10/325 is a percocet 10mg...is the white oblong 10/325 the same thing just a different company??? ## no it is actually hydrocodone or vicodine (name brand) 10 is the vicodine the 325 is aceteminifin name brand is norko ## Does anyone know what if any is the difference between the yellow oblong percocet and the small yellow round percocet? They both are PERCOCET they both are 10/325 I'm just wondering if it's just the company or if there is actually a difference in them ## Hydrocodone is not percocet. It is Lorcet. Oxycodone is percocet ## To clarify, Norco, Lorcet, Vicodin, and Lortab contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, while Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, which I believe is what Teerose was trying to convey. They are both opiate narcotics...

Been on 10/325 yellow percocet. I refill at Safeway. They gave me ip 204. What is the difference? I don't get the same relief from the IP 204. They said that is what Safeway is going with. I am stuck with these pills. What can I do? ## Hi doris, IP 204 is a generic form of percocet, made by Amneal Pharma. It also contains a dosage of 10/325 mg. If there are any notable differences between this and the yellow version you're used to taking, I'd say it would probably be found in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers)... No yellow dye for example. Just for the record here is a list of inactive ingredients found in the IP 204 pill: silicon dioxide + crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + corn starch + stearic acid There's also ...

im trying to find a pharmacy near coconut creek florida to fill my perscription percocet 10-650. not the round white ones, i would like to find the yellow long oval ones ## Most Walgreens carry the Watson brand which is what you want. ## For anyone else seeking information, this dosage is no longer available in the U.S. The FDA instituted a change several years ago that requires combination prescription medications to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose. They also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Is there anything I can help with?

I had been taking the Watson's 10 325 round white pill also last month Cvs filled my script with this a333 pill and they not only don't help my back pain but makes need nauseous and dizzy! Wasted $140 because I refuse to use something that does more damage than good ## I take perocet 10/apap and wentto get mine filled and they gave me a different one to it has ip something on it and it does nothing for my pain why do we have to accept meds that do not work please help me to tell what to tell the pharmacy? ## I am very sorry that you've both had a problem, unfortunately, there is nothing your pharmacy can do. However, I would suggest that you both report the issue to the FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit for...

Is this a real Percocet or a fake one? I've never saw a yellow one say 10/325 on one side and M532 on other side. It is oblong. ## @Byrd, I think the bottom line is if you didn't get your prescription filled through a licensed pharmacy then it could literally be anything. Pill press machines are making it possible for just about anyone to make copies using whatever ingredients they please. So the only reliable way to ensure legitimacy is by following the system. You can also contact the manufacturer (Mallinckrodt) directly at 800-778-7898 and ask them if they recently started producing a yellow oblong version of the tablet. Just a side note: My findings indicate that M 532 Percocet (5/500mg) is a red and white capsule with "M 532" in black ink on each side of it. Also, i...

Hello fellow pain med users! I'd like to clear up any confusion. The yellow orange-ish pill with the imprinted V on one side and 4829 on the other is in fact oxycodone hydrochloride / acetaminophen 10/325. This means 10 mgs of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen. These are generic forms of percocet, roxicet. So yes, this is a perk 10, as people call it. The V everyone sees is actually an "N" standing for the brand name of certain medications "narcco" narcco is a company that manufactures pain medication and sells them at a generic price, thus reducing the cost of these prescription medication. Generic pills, such as this pill, have to have at least 99.9 percent of the makeup of the ungeneric brand ie. Roxicet. So you are getting the exact same thing, ...

Pills are oval shinny yellow with a Percocet printed on one side and when broken they have white speckes ## How can I tell if it's real? It's yellow, oblong with Percocet imprinted on one side and 10/325 on the other ## Other than filling your prescription at a licensed pharmacy, a content analysis by a professional lab seems like the only viable way to tell if something's real. Counterfeits can mimic looks, shapes, tastes, etc... but only a lab analysis will show the correct ingredients. Drug panel kits sold OTC at head-shops or pharmacies are another means of figuring out if something contains an opiate or not. However these kits may be more susceptible to false readings in comparison to the higher standards of GC/MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) that a lab posses...

I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? It seems as though my yellow round Percocet are not as strong as they used to be. It is harder to find pharmacy that has the yellow round ones. Could it be they are less potent? ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? I'm sorry, but the color is not enough information to enable me to research the pill for you. The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! I am still in a lot of pain and the feeling I get from them are next to nothing like the m523. I am wondering if the pharmacy will exchange them for me if they have my old ones in stock? Anyone know the answer to this? Thank you in advance. ## I am very sorry that they aren't working for you. However no, your pharmacy can't exchange them, so to speak, because once you leave the building with them, they can't take them back, as tampering is a concern. I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect? ## An oblong yellow pill marked with T 194 on one side and blank on the other is identified as a 10/325mg generic Percocet. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Camber Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 31722-0194. Concerning the possible side effects of Oxycodone, medline plus does list "chest pain" as a potentially serious side effect that you should inform your doctor about immediately.
