For chronic pain I was taking what I thought was a generic percocet which was a White Round Pill with TEC on one Side and a Line on the other side. About 3 per day.When recently I had my perscription refilled the pharmacist replaced these with a Smaller Round Pill with APO on one side and the number 5 above a line and below the number 325.They do not appear to be as effective but the pharmacist said that they were the same .Can any one explain why the change to these pills and why the difference in pain relief Thanks ## Its a cheap, generic form of percocet, perco is a registered orginal med. a light blue round tablet with percocet written on one hallf and I believe it is either blank or scored down the centre Is this an old pill before they started making the TECS, N's and 0636's? ## The blue Percocet tablets have the name Percocet on them, with the number 5 underneath and are scored on the opposite side. This is the name brand product. It contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic analgesic. I'm not seeing this one in the current listings, so it may have been discontinued. Are there any other questions or comments?

Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. Hello, I have a white round tabelt, scored on one side and on the other side the imprint PERCOCET around the top. It is a bit thinner than a regular TEC percocet. I have a feeling these might be fake, has anyone ever seen the work Percocet imprinted on a percocet pill? ## Yes, there are some with the word PERCOCET imprint on them. The one that is white and round has PERCOCET in an arc on the top of the pill, above a score mark on one side and the word DuPont on the opposite side of the tablet. If I have taken a Tylenol 3 earlier and had no relief, how long do I wait to take a Percocet 10/325mg pill? ## See what it says on your Tylenol 3 dosage. It depends on the amount of acetominophen in both pills. You cannot exceed 4,00 mg per day. A 10/325 Percocet- you can technically take them together. If you look at an Extra Strength Tylenol bottle, you can take 1,000 mg at a time. The Percocet alone is ok at 10 mg. Doctors can prescribe the Percocet alone although it is frowned upon. If you have ever been told that you have liver damage, call your doctor. ## What Skeeter stated about the Acetaminophen/Tylenol is correct, you should not exceed 4,000mgs in a 24 hour period, and each dose of the regular release formulations should not exceed 1,000mgs per dose. Is there Percocet with black spots on them that are round and it says "tec" on the other side? ## Fake percocet could very well look identical to the real thing; as this is their inherent goal for all intended purposes... I think that's really a broad question though, because there are different looking percocet tablets on the market and each fake tablet could be made to look like each real version... That's what they use the pill presses for. I personally haven't seen a percocet that fits your depiction, but then again I don't know if you're in the same country as me (America)...
