My girlfriend took it for a pain killer, as she had surgery on the right shoulder and right knee. Now she has a very bad headache. ## The APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen and Oxycodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Can you please tell me why while taking Percocet 5-325 I am lethargic round the clock and can barely function, but several years back on Oxycodon 10mg - ? (can't recall), I was at least able to daily tasks such as make my food, do the dishes along with other house hold chores, and in general, I had more energy too, while the pain was diminished as well? My pharmacy switched to Mallinkrodt generic percocet 10/325. After 3 months of taking them my wrists are stiff; my outer side of hands, pinky & ring fingers have gone totally numb! Also, little to NO pain relief, withdrawal symptoms ie; like the flu, exhaustion, episodic sweating, nausea...as if I’m taking a fake pill! I’ve been a legit CP PATIENT for 20 years; never a problem. Last 2 yrs every generic percocet has very odd side effects. My whole life & persona has drastically changed. Hard to function. What has obviously been added/subtracted, changed in the formulations? I was just prescribed nucynta after being on percocet for over 3 years. Im very nervous about taking the first dose after reading the side effects. I work in the public eye and do ALOT of face to face contact and am nervous about not being able to think straight or put out a coherent thought. The max does of Oxycodone in it is 10mgs. That said, a pill marked 20 and G5 contains 20mgs of Pravastatin, a generic for Pravachol, this is used to help lower cholesterol. My husband was given narcoset (spelling?) for severe neck and back pain, now he is so dizzy he can't stand; is this normal. ## Did you mean Norco or Percocet? They are two different medications. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Both, however, are narcotic pain medications and yes, dizziness can be a side effect, especially if he is not used to taking narcotics. It should wear off, as his body adjusts to the medication and it should only last for an hour, at the most, after he takes the medication. If it lasts longer than that, doesn't wear off or gets worse, then he will need to stop using them and contact his doctor. do they have the percocert that is 10/525 ## they are 5m or 10m sorry cant remember ## There is also none that contains 525mgs of Acetaminophen, there is, however, a 325mg tablet, with either 5 or 10mgs of Oxycodone. Its a yellow color & oval jsut like a percocet 10. on one side it says e 797 and on the other side it says 10. Is this a percocet? maybe a generic brand? This tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as containing 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, which is an antihistamine that's also used to treat anxiety, and insomnia. small round light orange pill, has a M on 1 side and the numbers 565 on the other side. ## First off, there is no Percocet tablet, on the U.S. market, that contains 40mgs of Oxycodone. I believe the tablet you are looking at has the marking M 595 and this is an old, discontinued 40mg time released Oxycodone tablet, a generic for Oxycontin. Due to the risks of abuse and diversion, the generics are no longer being manufactured. It is not a Percocet equivalent, because it is time released and doesn't contain Acetaminophen.
