Can you please tell me why while taking Percocet 5-325 I am lethargic round the clock and can barely function, but several years back on Oxycodon 10mg - ? (can't recall), I was at least able to daily tasks such as make my food, do the dishes along with other house hold chores, and in general, I had more energy too, while the pain was diminished as well? From what I understand there is not that much difference between the two? Also on the Percocet I experience nausea and decreased appetite too. Thank you ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen, it tends to augment the effects of the Oxycodone in some people that take it, so you are probably experiencing more side effects than you did with the Oxycodone alone. The FDA classifies this medicat...

My pharmacy switched to Mallinkrodt generic percocet 10/325. After 3 months of taking them my wrists are stiff; my outer side of hands, pinky & ring fingers have gone totally numb! Also, little to NO pain relief, withdrawal symptoms ie; like the flu, exhaustion, episodic sweating, nausea...as if I’m taking a fake pill! I’ve been a legit CP PATIENT for 20 years; never a problem. Last 2 yrs every generic percocet has very odd side effects. My whole life & persona has drastically changed. Hard to function. What has obviously been added/subtracted, changed in the formulations? Is anyone else experiencing this or am I losing my mind? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer me some advice &/or facts. ## Regarding the numbness, you should really have that checked out ...

I work in the public eye and do ALOT of face to face contact and am nervous about not being able to think straight or put out a coherent thought. Should i be concerned about this side effect as much as i am. ## Hello, Tinkerbell! How are you? If you are already opiate tolerant, you likely won't have as much of a problem with it as someone that hasn't taken them before. However, the only way to find out how it will affect you is by trying it. Is there a chance that you could start it on a day off, when you won't have to worry about it, so much? The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potenti...

My husband was given narcoset (spelling?) for severe neck and back pain, now he is so dizzy he can't stand; is this normal. ## Did you mean Norco or Percocet? They are two different medications. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Both, however, are narcotic pain medications and yes, dizziness can be a side effect, especially if he is not used to taking narcotics. It should wear off, as his body adjusts to the medication and it should only last for an hour, at the most, after he takes the medication. If it lasts longer than that, doesn't wear off or gets worse, then he will need to stop using them and contact his doctor. He may also experience other side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are...

Is there any diffence an the tecs and the 0636 version do they have same ingredents? ## Hi, Tom! How are you? Unfortunately, since the Tecs are Canadian and you didn't list an imprint, I can't tell you any specific details about them. But, I can tell you that the ones with the 0636 marking contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so they are a generic for Percocet, which is a narcotic analgesic. That means it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Percocet contains the active ingredients Oxycodone, and Acetaminophen, and the maximum dosage of it available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. small round light orange pill, has a M on 1 side and the numbers 565 on the other side. ## First off, there is no Percocet tablet, on the U.S. market, that contains 40mgs of Oxycodone. I believe the tablet you are looking at has the marking M 595 and this is an old, discontinued 40mg time released Oxycodone tablet, a generic for Oxycontin. Due to the risks of abuse and diversion, the generics are no longer being manufactured. It is not a Percocet equivalent, because it is time released and doesn't contain Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Read more: Are there any comments or questions?
