I just got my script filled in SC. Wal Mart. They have their own distribution system. Check there. I have a large amount of pills and pain. They told me they had the entire script. 360 pills. Good luck y'all from South Carolina. ## Thanks for the heads up Jimmy, I'm not sure if anyone else has been having problems getting their script filled lately (at least here in California), but according to the FDA there aren't any current drug shortages involving Percocet. This can be verified on the following page: fda.gov/drugs/drugsafety/drugshortages/ucm050792.htm Just out of curiosity, where did you first hear about there being a shortage? ## Anyone here know what pharmacy in Columbia, SC has the best generic Percocet 7.5/325? I was taking Alvogen, c229 then RP's... Now they a...

It has been impossible for me to fill a prescription for oxycodone since last November. I have been using the same Walgreens, and the same doctors, for years. Suddenly, they have not received oxycodone orders (or so they say) and don't know when they will get them. What's going on? ## It's fairly common for their to be shortages during the last few months of the year and usually January of the new year. It is due to mandatory manufacturing limits, once the manufacturers have reached their limits, they can't product new product until they receive their new allotment amount sometime after the start of the new year. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Thus, there hasn't been any supply for them to order from and no, they really don't know for sure when they will rece...

I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications or products. It is an information only website. This is a generic and normally, it is fairly inexpensive, but there is currently a shortage, so I am not sure if that may affect the price or not. Learn more Oxycodone details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm an older man in real pain, I have driven and visited 60 pharmacies in the last 3 days to get my Percocet prescription filled in Las Vegas and am unable to find them! I inquired if I had my prescription changed to Norco. Why can the government force citizens to live in pain, I need a tooth pulled but am afraid to have it done as there will be no pain relief!!! ## Hello, Dave! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you've run into. However, we are now into the time of year when there is virtually always a shortage of controlled substances due to mandatory manufacturing limits. To try to keep better track of the supply, each manufacture can only produce a certain amount each year and once they reach that amount, they can't manufacture any new product until t...

This is a nightmare!! I suffer from multiple auto-immune diseases such as Connective Tissue Disease, R.A, Livedo, Raynauds, & traces of Lupus. All of which cause EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! On top of all of those, my body attacks itself 24/7!! Over the years the doctors have tried a ridiculous amount of different pain medications. I called it the 'medication game', & it was anything but fun!! Either there was minimal to no relief with them, or they made me feel awful! They tried everything from Percocet 10mgs, Endocet, Methadone 45mgs per day, oxycontin, Hydromorphine 4mgs tablets & 8 mg tablets, & all medicatons are/were accompanied by Ibproufen 800 mgs capsules. During one hospital visit they even had me on a conjunction of Dilauded 8mgs PLUS oxycontin 20 mgs, every 3 ...

I am in chronical pain I have been runing from pharmacy after pharmacy the pharmist keep tellin me in a couple week or they don't know ## Hello, Ron! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, we are now into the time of year when there are usually shortage of controlled substances due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their allotted amount for the year, they cannot manufacture any new product, until the new year. Every year, demand usually exceeds supply and we end up with shortages for the last few months of the year. The best suggestion I can make is to ask your pharmacist what they do have in stock and then see if your doctor can prescribe it, in the meantime. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to...

When I asked, why they filled my generic Percocet with a new one manufactured by, Camber, this is what I was told. And, I quote, “There’s a nationwide shortage of the other generic Percocet so, Walgreens’s has to get whatever is available.” I don’t believe that statement. Has anyone heard this explanation? Henry ## Every company is given a certain amount that they are allowed to produce, according to DEA regulations. Once they hit that limit, they can no longer manufacture any more, until they are given their new allotment from them. The FDA lists warns tat this medication may possibly be habit forming, and could cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

is the endocet/percocet 10/325 yellow pill being discontinued if so why ## There have been shortages recently, but at this time, I am not aware of it being discontinued. Learn more Percocet details here. Has someone told you that it was being discontinued? ## is there a shortage in Indiana of hydrocodone 10\650 or 10\325 made by the maunfactuer endo? Is the problem ENDO or the drug itself as it seems available by other generic maker of both strengths. ## i need to correc this post i meant oxycodone as i knoe hydrocodone is lortcet. sorry ## The reason for the shortages is that the Percocet 10/650 or any pain medications with more than 325mg of acetamenaphen is being discontinued at of Jan, 1, 2014. So most pain perscriptions being written to patients that were the 10/650 are being chang...

Hi I have tried my normal pharmacy to fill my monthly script of Percocet 10-325 they said it's been on back order for three weeks I went to my dr today it was switched to 5-325 just to get it filled and I still had a issue what's going on why the shortage ## I am very sorry about the problem you're having finding your medication. Unfortunately, the DEA limits the amount of controlled substances that any given manufacturer can produce each year, and subsequently, how much each pharmacy can stock. They base the numbers on demand from the prior year, they did this to try to gain better control of the supply of medications that are commonly abused, or stolen and resold. There are more details here: Controlled Substances Act Percocet is an opioid analgesic, the FDA warns that it ...

Need legal script filled in jax fl. Does anyone know where? ## It is likely to take another week or two, before most places will have these types of medications back in stock. Learn more Percocet details here. It is fairly common for there to be shortages towards the end of each year and into the first few weeks of the new year, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Do you have a pharmacy that you use regularly? If so, then you will most likely have the best luck there, rather than trying a different one. ## I went back to dr today to ask for another medicine. I rather have a little pain relief than none at all. Thanks for your reply. I do use the same pharmacy but for safety concerns he doesnt stock certain meds.

After two back surgeries done by the most respected neurosurgeon with one more to go fusion etc.. Going to pain management at this time sent by surgeon he has prescribed percocet 10/325 until back surgery is done. Filled twice now suddenly November non is available anywhere. Everyone has a different explanation and I am using norco 10/325 and it is not close to working as well. Anyone have any new info on what's going on? ## Hello, Monaco! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're having a problem finding your medication. The real explanation is that there is currently a shortage. Lorocet I am taking have been for years Dr changed me to perocet ten they are making me sick I want to go back to lorcet ten why is their some different drug in one and not the other why does they different ## Hello, Lumbee Girl! How are you doing? Sorry about the problems that you're having. The reason they are different is because not every drug works for everyone. We are all different, so someone else may not be able to take the Lorcet, but the Percocet may work great for them. The most likely reason your doctor changed your prescription is because there is a shortage right now and the combination medications with higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them will no longer be available after the new year. All of them will be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per ...

In addition, there has been a recent shortage of Oxycodone medications, due to manufacturers having hit their limits for the year, so they cannot ship new product.
