Nov. of 2016 I moved from Pa. to Tenn. out of family need. I am 60 yrs. old and had numerous lower back and cervical surgeries. In Pa. I received 180 percocet 10/325 per month. My pain spec. here in Tenn. will only prescribe 120 per. month saying by Tenn. law this is the max amount allowed per month. Can anyone tell me if this is fact? Does percocet come in 20mg? ## I'm assuming you're referring to the amount of the narcotic in it, the Oxycodone? If so, then NO, it does not. Percocet, which contains the Oxycodone, coupled with Acetaminophen, is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. want to know what it looks like ## There is no 1000mg Percocet, this medication contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and the maximum dosage available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. As to what the pills look like, with the varying dosages available and all the generics on the market, there is no way I could list pictures or a description of all of them. Do not mess with perc 30s. You will become addicted and it will ruin your life. Sure everyone thinks they could never become addicted but the percs will get you hooked fast. Stay away. I've seen good people turn into petty thieves to feed their addiction. If prescribed them be careful on how many you do a day because they are highly addictive and the withdraw is very intense. Do yourself and anyone who cares about you a favor and just stay away from them. I know from experience. I ran out a few days early and I just wanted to know if I could take 10 mg Percocet in the same quantity to keep my levels up? ## The problem with taking so much Percocet is the Acetaminophen in it. WHITE SMALL ROUND PILL, ONE SIDE HAS AN M WITH A SQUARE AROUND THE M.. AND ON THE OTHER SIDE THERE IS A SMALL NUMBER 15 ON HALF THE SIDE ## There is no 15mg Percocet tablet. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. I ran out of oxycodone will Percocet replace the oxycodone ## Hi Barbara, The Percocet will not be identical to Oxycodone, because it also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen as well. More over, a closer comparison would also depend on what dose of Oxycodone you were taking, since the maximum amount of Oxycodone that they put in Percocet is 10mgs. Are you getting Percocet from the same doctor who wrote your script for Oxycodone? If so, he/she should be able to help you determine what amount you should be taking in order to provide adequate pain relief. I hope this helps!

I was taking 40 mg of OxyContin for a rare bone syndrome. I have chronic back, leg, and joint pain. I starter taking percocet but I find to get the pain managed I have to take up to at least 5 pills at once of the percocets to match that of the OxyContin. Is this okay and does that make since? Especially since I am taking up to 15 a day? should I just ask to be switched back to OxyContin? ## I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. Yes, you should definitely look into switching off of the Percocet. It contains both Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and you are exceeding the daily maximum dosage of Acetaminophen, which is just 3,000mgs. Each Percocet tablet contains 325mgs of it, so you should not be taking more than 9 of them a day, at most. Taking more than that risks fatal toxicity....

They prescribed me 12 percocet, 1 every 4 to 6 hrs. How many days is that (2 or 3 days worth)? Where in Las Vegas do I find percocet 10/650. I got it from emergency and no one carries it! Why would an er room write it if it doesn't existing ## It does exist, or I guess I should say that it did up until this point, but the changes going on may be what's making it hard to find and, if that is the case, it isn't the fault of the ER doctor that wrote the prescription or the pharmacies. I have had the pleasure of eating 15 - 20 Percocet 30 every day for the past month. Well, my luck, and money has run out. I am hurting and don't have anything to fall back on. I have taken hydrocodone for years and then changed to Percocet. Ive been taking it for a year and a half. From 20-40 mg a day. This is the end of day 2 withdrawing from it.
