Percocet would contain Oxycodone with the Acetaminophen, which this does not. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This tablet only contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. ## Percocet 5mg is White round pill with 512 on one side and blank on the other. It is a generic for Roxicodone, but it is not the same as Percocet, since that couples the Oxycodone with Acetaminophen. Does percocet come in 20mg? ## I'm assuming you're referring to the amount of the narcotic in it, the Oxycodone? If so, then NO, it does not. Percocet, which contains the Oxycodone, coupled with Acetaminophen, is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. There is only one kind of Percocet, both it and it's generics contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, though there are a couple doses available. According to the NIH database, a tablet that is white with 44 over 157 on it contains 325mgs of Aspirin and is available over the counter. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. My profession is very important to me and I would NEVER risk loosing it due to drugs, however, I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs. a day on concrete. Once a pill is available for generic production, they are made by many different companies and they all look different and have to have different markings. How would a doctor write out a prescription for 15mg percs? Would it just say 15mg Percocet? I currently take 7.5mg/325 percocets but I'm going to a new doctor since mine moved away and I wanted to change the mgs to 15 without the acetaminophen. I'm a chronic pain patient due to Fibromyalgi/Chronic Fatigue and Degenerative back & hip disease, for 21 years I've tried all kinds of meds and only narcotics have ever helped.. I'm on Percocet 15 mg, 1 every 4-6 hours, for 6-7 yrs now. . (Long acting meds behave as short acting in my body, so can't take anything long acting...which prevents me from being able to use a breakthrough med). I have been taking 2 7.5 percent every 4 he's a 1 oxy 15 mg for over a year now and its gotten to where its only taking the edge off for maybe an hour. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminphen. There is a Oxycodone Oral Solution. There is 5 mg in every 5 ml. A dr isn't going to prescribe Oxycodone Oral Solution to replace Percocet unless he believes it is in the best interest of the patient. Oxycodone Oral Solution is only prescribed in certain situations.

Hi, it's Kel again. I wrote earlier but now I am here with a different topic amd would like some opinions. I was recently switched (2 days ago actually) from being on Percocet 10-325 4xd to MSContin 15er & Percocet 7.5 4xd for BT. My Dr. was going to go ahead & start me at 60 mg of the MSContin and take my Percocet down. I freaked out due to just beinh another "new" drug. I habe to many chronic conditions to write but I can honestly say I am about to have 2 major surgies. And he is wanting me to get that Neuro Implant device. My question is, this is just my 3rd dose of the MSContin (morphine sulf er 15 mg) and I am truly not feeling that much of pain relief even when I take my now reduced Percocet dosage. Other than green or light green is there such a thing as a white 15mg percocet? ## There is no Percocet available that contains 15mgs of anything, it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. A 15mg tablet would just be one that contains Oxycodone and it is available in the time released formulation under the name brand Oxycontin and in the regular released formulation which is available under the brand name Roxicodone, as well as a generic.
