pink with a 5114 and a v on it ## 5114 V is Acetaminophen 650 mg + Propoxyphene 100 mg a generic Darvocet ## Abe is correct, this was a very mild opiate narcotic that was discontinued several years ago, by the FDA, due to the cardiac dangers it caused, some of which were fatal, as well as the many overdoses it caused. They also warned it carried the risk of being habit forming. Thus, this is an old tablet, that is no longer available in the U.S. Are there any questions?

I just had surgery on my throat yesterday. I was given percocet to take home from hospital(8 5/325s) and was prescribed tramacet. Am i able to over lap and take both or sshould I take the rest of percocet before beginning the tramacet? I do not take pills often therefore I am not to sure. I took one Percocet 10-325 about two hours ago. I still feel some of the effects of it but surely it will be wearing off soon. How much longer until I can drink? For info sake, I drink shots. Will probably have 1/2-1 pint. Gin. I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. And doubling up on the Diclofenac could be dangerous, since it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that can increase your risk of bleeding and may cause stomach damage, as side effects reported by the FDA. I was taking 40 mg of OxyContin for a rare bone syndrome. I have chronic back, leg, and joint pain. I starter taking percocet but I find to get the pain managed I have to take up to at least 5 pills at once of the percocets to match that of the OxyContin. Is this okay and does that make since? Especially since I am taking up to 15 a day? should I just ask to be switched back to OxyContin? ## I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. Yes, you should definitely look into switching off of the Percocet. It contains both Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and you are exceeding the daily maximum dosage of Acetaminophen, which is just 3,000mgs. Each Percocet tablet contains 325mgs of it, so you should not be taking more than 9 of them a day, at most. Taking more than that risks fatal toxicity....

I took two extra strength Tylenol at 11:00 am. How long would I need to wait to take a Percocet 5? ## Hello, April! How are you? I've been taking norco 10-325 for approximately 1 1/2 years due to a herniated disc. I had a laminecty and partial discecty this morning. I was prescribed Percocet 10-325 and Valium 5mg and was instructed to continue all previous medications. I was unsure about taking the norco and the Percocet both but the Percocet is not relieving the pain. My Pain Mgt Dr. has been reducing my Percocet 10/325 mg pills down from 6/day to 3/day and my Kadian 20 mg pills down from 4/day to 3/day! I found 4 year old expired oxycodone in my medicine cabinet and I would like to know if its still safe to take?
