Hello, I need some help. My husband has been in pain for some unknown nerve problems and the do for that he was seeing prescribed him Vicodin for the pain. Over time his tolerance went up and he got referred to a pain management specialist and he starte prescribing him methadone and 10 mg percocets for his pain. He has been abusing pain pills fr about 8 years now and he is up to taking 30+ percocets a day when he gets his prescription filled along with 10-15 of the methadone (80 mg pills I think?) then when he runs out, which is very quickly, he gets a lot from other people. Is this a real Percocet or a fake one? I've never saw a yellow one say 10/325 on one side and M532 on other side. I have been on vik and percs longer then I can remember. Over five years ti be sure. Currently 60-80 mg percs a day all perscribed. I want to get off them. Have had alit of medical issues/pain but its at the point I do not truely know what the pain is. I had major surgery about two montgs ago. Morphine dilliuad fir about two weks in hospital. I want to get iff meds and reacess if I even need them for pain or if just an addiction at this point. One real problem is I am to have more major surgery in two months. would this be classified as oxycontin ? they are small pink pill--19mg ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so the equivalent without the Acetaminophen would be Roxicodone. OxyContin is a time released formulation. Additionally, there is no 19mg tablet. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? ## Oxycontin is simply an extended release version of Oxycodone. Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". 12 years ago my church had a ski and snowboard retreat. Traditionally we race together at the last run of the day. By the time i hit the bottom there was a huge pile up and i twisted my board sideways to stop at about 45mph and my torso twisted the opposite way. Hi looking for some guidance hoping someone could shed some light. I have very chronic neck and back pains. I also having bulging disk in my neck C4 all the way to C6. I have been seeing a doctor that refuses to prescribe my Percocet. I have recent MRI films that show disc degeneration, spurs, disc bulging and I have lost all of the curve in my neck. I am addicted to opiates. Mostly Oxycodone, and Vicodin if I can't find my drug of choice. I am also prescribed Klonopin, 1mg 2X a day. A couple days ago, someone gave me 1 10mg Methadone because I was sick from not having my D.O.C. I was told not to take my Klonopin though because the mixture could be deadly. However I've just learned that mixing other opiates with Methadone can hurt you as well. So I took the methadone Saturday evening. Sunday I took Vicodin throughout the day, but did not take my Kpin.
