What is the difference in percocet 10/325 and lortab 10/500, I know the amount of tylenol is different, but I've taken both and the lortab seem to work better than the percocet. Is one stronger than the other? ## Lortab contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. Percocet contains Acetaminophen, coupled with the narcotic Oxycodone. So, it might just be that the Hydrocodone works better for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I usually take 5 10/325mg doses of Lortab once daily. I have been taking percocet 7/325 three (3)X daily along with oxycontin every day for several years, prescribed by doctor due to several herniated discs. Recently I traveled out of the country and was surprised to see codeine products for sale in pharmacies without a script. I purchased a couple of boxes of Co-codamol 8/500 , hoping it would be an effective backup for times when I ran short of percocet. (I am not getting "high" for fun, I have chronic pain and a very full workload with no support system)however the co-codamol tablets don't seem to work for me unfortunately they don't really relieve my pain they just make me tired. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. Unless they are a different dose 5/325 vs 10/325 then they are the exact same medication. Percocet contains oxycodone as the active narcotic and is stronger than the other two you mentioned. One may work better than the other for you personally but Percocet is the stronger of them. Hi, I was having inconsistent relief with the tabs and my doc switched me to the syrup. The syrup works, but not very long and I've now developed heartburn. Anyone else have that issue? The way it is made, it can't be abused as easily as Zohydro, which is also Extended Release. It also contains no Tylenol.
