Can anyone help a man in pain? I'm in search of a doc that prescribes methadone. My Dr. moved to another state. Please any advice? I live in Philadelphia. Pa. . ## Advanced Urgent Care. City Ave. ## I myself go to an Urgent Care and know for a fact they do prescribe Methadone. My mother is prescribed 10mg of methadone with 15mg of oxycodone for chronic back pain. I have back pain but am only prescribed 20mg of oxycodone. No appointment necessary they take walk-ins and are open 7 days a week. the doctors there are very helpful and caring. hope this helps...

I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Why is that? ## The ONLY difference in the two pills is the Tylenol, and 1 of the pills (oxy 20) has 5 mgs more than the Percocet 15? I put the ? Because I NEVER heard of a Percocet 15; only 10, 20 and Percocet 30. Never the less, oxycodone is the narcotic in both pills, and oxycodone is oxycodone. IT'S THE SAME THING BABY! ## The Acetaminophen does enhance the action of the narcotic in some people that take it, so you might be one of those people who get better pain relief if it accompanies the opiate. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nau...

Percocet Acetaminophen + Oxycodone

Oxycodone/paracetamol, sold under the brand name Percocet among others, is a combination of the opioid oxycodone with paracetamol (acetaminophen), used to treat moderate to severe pain. In 2019, it was the 59th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than 11million prescriptions.[2][3] Contents 1 History 2 Implicated in deaths 3 References 4 External links History The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) first appr...

my son has pills in his bedroom and I want to know what they are please ## I don't have pictures to post for you, due to copyright reasons, in addition, Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, is available as both a generic and the name brand, so the appearance and markings can differ, depending on the dosage and manufacturer. Here are a couple of examples that are generics, in the dosage you asked about: Round, white, 512 on one side and a score line on the opposite side. Round, white, WATSON 749 on one side, with a score line on the other. Round, white, IP 203 on one side, with a score on the other. And, as I said, this is just a few examples, there are many more. Are there any markings on the pills in question? If you can post back with this information, I will glad...

I was prescribed 8 mg of ER Hydromorphone today in place of Percocet 10/325 3x a day. I hope it works without making me sleepy or tired. I'm scared, but need to find one medication instead of so many Percocet. What is your take on how these two medications compare with one another? ## Each 10mgs of Oxycodone is equivalent to 3.75mgs of Hydromorphone, so it is stronger and may work better for you. However, all narcotic opiates could cause drowsiness, and fatigue as side effects, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, and constipation. Have you started taking it, yet? If so, how is it working for you? ## Can you take 6 mg of diladad safetly with 20 mg of oxycontin three times a day

My Pain Mgt Dr. has been reducing my Percocet 10/325 mg pills down from 6/day to 3/day and my Kadian 20 mg pills down from 4/day to 3/day! I have been on this drug regimen for 7 yrs. due to a poor outcome from my last lumbar fusion surgery. I have heard that the DEA is requiring that all doctors must wean their patients down off of ALL opiate pain meds. Can you inform me of possibly any new developments in pain meds that would be accepted by the DEA??? Thanks so much. ## Hello, Doug! How are you? No, they don't have to take people off of all pain medications, however, they have been directed to limit how much is prescribed per day to any patient that does not have a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. It's been requested that no one else be given more than the equiva...

Is It Safe To Take A Valium 6 Hours After Taking 20mg Of Percocet? ## My findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between these two drugs. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Valium (diazepam) together with Oxycodone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor." Sin...

I was prescribed 5/325 mg tablets and told to take 1-2 for pain from kidney stone surgery. I did NOT have it filled because I still had some at home. I took one about 90 minutes ago and realized that they are 10/325. Is it ok to take another one or would that be dangerous. I know nothing about pain meds. ## It would depend on your tolerance and if you're taking any other medications. For someone not used to taking opiates 20mg of Oxycodone is quite a bit. However, it's not enough, in my opinion, to worry about overdose. You'll likely just get very sleepy. If you just took a 10/325 why do you feel the need to take another so soon? Also, if you're taking a benzodiazepine or muscle relaxant be careful. These drugs combined with Oxycodone can synergistically cause respirator...

It is white, round with IP 203 on one side ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Yes, this is a round, white tablet that has IP over 203 on one side and just a score line on the opposite. It contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone, which are the active ingredients in Percocet. Learn more Percocet details here. This is a narcotic pain reliever, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What manufacturer currently makes the best generic Percocet 10's? My pharmacy carries Mallinckrodt and I had a huge issue with their Norco years ago so I would like to ask if they'll order a different one for me but I don't know which would be good. Need excellent pain relief plus not that super tired feeling. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. ## The only issue I see with making comparisons is, this is all a matter of personal opinion based on each individual's unique body chemistry (i.e. something that isn't easily measured from a medical standpoint) and doesn't necessarily convey or predict how someone else going to respond to another manufacturer [no matter if it's the same drug or not]. Some people may also be more sensitive to different inactive ing...

I got a report to read from the FDA sent from the DEA on generic Percocet from a friend's family member that works for the FDA. The report said that in their discussions they came up with a plan to stop people from dying from overdoses & addiction. Said Generic Percocet is the most abused medicine on the market. They have in place a 20% tolerance on generic pain medication and they deemed this wasn't helping the abuse of Percocet. People have been complaining in the thousands about Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and others not putting the correct amount of opioid in generic Percocet plus it seems to be making people sick. In the report not only are they decreasing the 20%, but also adding 50% to the 20% so you're getting 70% less of the active ingredient in Rhodes/Purdue Pharmac...

Given that federal law permits generic pharmaceutical manufacturers to diminish principle ingredient(s) by as much as -20% (i.e. minus 20% as compared to the principle amount in the original or "brand" version), I am attempting to find a generic producer of Percocet that has proven to be more effective for others in situations like or similar to mine. Due to a hard fall, I sustained an injury called spondylolethesis (i.e. shifting vertebrae) from L4, L5, & S1. Corrective surgery was required involving a vertical abdominal incision below the navel and two low-back incisions on either side of lumbar spine to allow installation of the appropriate orthopedic spine hardware (e.g. screws, rods, posts, etc.). Since the post-op pain has only increased from surgery 2 wks. ago, and th...

I have taken 10/325 MD 523 generic for years. I took IP 204 for a month with noticeable side effects; swollwen feet and less bowel movement, even with daily miralax. My question....DOES IP 204 CAUSE BULDGING FEET THEN MD 523??????????? Thank you for any comments. ## Did you mean the tablet with the M523 10/325 marking? Because there isn't one with an MD on it. The constipation can be a side effect of any narcotic opiate and though it isn't common, Percocet can cause fluid retention in some people, as well. There can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another, so taking a different one may have caused the problem, but you should really have it checked out by your doctor to be safe. What happens if you take expired Percocet? ## When did it expire? If it is within one year, it is still as potent as if it were still in date. All Rx's usually start losing their effectiveness at a rate of 5-20% each year. But otherwise safe to take expired unless discolored or crumbling. ## Well at least Im not the only one that knows the OP's dont work, and the old OCs were the brand until the end of last year. The old OCs work. I know that Walgreens had the OC's as generic but then was told not to sell them as Generic but sell them as brand. I did fill a perscription with 40 OCs brand and then noticed that they said OC on them. I have called a lot of Walgreens and they don't say much over the phone. I had two percrips filled as brand and saw that they were OCs. Now wh...

Is the ip 304 pill generic of percocet, or can it be used for opiate withdrawal? ## Hello, William! How are you? An oval, orange tablet with the marking IP 304 is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 75mgs of Velafaxine. The FDA classifies this medication as being an SNRI antidepressant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. However, if you mean the oblong, white tablet with the marking IP 204, that is listed by them as being a generic for Percocet, which contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation...

please tell me if my small white pill with 10 on one side and 00 on the other is the same as percocet. it is said to be oxycodone ## I elieve that what you are looking at is a marking of OC 10 and that is one of the original Oxycontin 10mg tablets, which have now been discontinued and replaced with the ones marked OP 10. It is not the same as Percocet, because it does not contain the Acetaminophen. This tablet only contains 10mgs of Oxycodone in a time released formulation. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

How strong compared to a 500mg vicodin is a 2065v on one side and a 4 on the otherside. Or is it closer to a tylenol 3 ## Hello, Amber! How are you? The tablet with the 2065 V marking contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 60mgs of Codeine. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Codeine is actually a pretty weak opiate, so 60mgs of it is only equal to 9mgs of Hydrocodone. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a pill with a2065 v one side and a #4 on the other side. What is that equal to in a vicadin or percocet

I have been taking suboxone/zubsolv for the past eleven months. I was taking subs but my insurance refused to pay for them so now I am on Zubsolv 5.7/1.4 two times a day. I went to see my doctor on May 5, 2015 and got my script for 60 zubsolv. However, when I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that my doctor was no longer covered by my insurance, and I would have to pay cash. I have been buying a few at the time when I could afford them. Needless to say, I can't afford two a day so I have been taking just one a day. When I contacted my doctor, I got no answer for four days. I went to my OB/GYN for a routine exam and was told I need an outpatient surgery in four days. He gave me a prescription for Percocet (he knows I take zubsolv) for post op pain. Haven't filled it be...
