My prescription called for 10/325 and I have for the pass 15 years been taking Watson 932. Now I have a yellow tablet by Alvogen, Inc. with a strength 325/10. Is there a difference? It doesnt have APAP in the description. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! I understand your confusion, but it is the same medication. The 325 still designates the APAP in it, which is just medical speak for Acetaminophen and the 10 stands for the amount of Oxycodone, this is a generic for Percocet. Learn more Percocet details here. It doesn"t have apap in the decription. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! Sorry about the confusion. No, there is no difference in the medication, Alvogen is just another manufacturer of generic medications. However, the 325 that's listed still means 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the 10mgs is the amount of Oxycodone that's in it. Learn more Percocet details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I had been taking the Watson's 10 325 round white pill also last month Cvs filled my script with this a333 pill and they not only don't help my back pain but makes need nauseous and dizzy! Wasted $140 because I refuse to use something that does more damage than good ## I take perocet 10/apap and wentto get mine filled and they gave me a different one to it has ip something on it and it does nothing for my pain why do we have to accept meds that do not work please help me to tell what to tell the pharmacy? ## I am very sorry that you've both had a problem, unfortunately, there is nothing your pharmacy can do. However, I would suggest that you both report the issue to the FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit for...

percocet 10/325 & percocet HP, what is the difference? ## Hello, Sergio! How are you? They both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, so there is no difference from what you've listed. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So if I’m prescribed Pecocets 30mg or oxycodone/Apap 10/325mg which is stronger I already know one have Tylenol also I’m being prescribed Morphine sulf ER 30mg ## Which prescription is stronger Percocet 30mg or oxycodone/APaP 10/325mg

round white pill one side has watson932 other side is plain-no scoring ## Yes, this is oxycodone 10mg, with acetaminophen (or tylenol, apap) 325mg. It is generic for Percocet 10 among others. It is a schedule 2 controlled substance, narcotic pain killer. It is a highly addictive medication used for moderate to severe pain. Side effects include marked drowsiness, dizziness, euphoria, nausea, among many others. ## Hello, Just to confirm, the pill with the imprint WATSON 932 is indeed a combination of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (10 mg). The blend tablet is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe acute (short-term) pain. Is this the same as oxycodone? ## Not exactly the same. Oxycodoapap 10325 indicates a combinational drug containing both Oxycodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen (also known as APAP) 325 mg. A common brand name of this combination is Percocet. Hope this answers your question. Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do...

i always thought the 512 percocets were real percocets not generic but found out they were generic. what do real percocets look like and is there any difference between the real percocets and the generics? ## Dr. prescribed Percocet, Pharm gave me generic Oxycod/apap 5-325. They do not work, I think drug store might have gave me wrong pills. They are large, round, one side says 512 the other side is scored. Have I got the right med? ## i have a pill that is thought to be a percocet. I would like to verify this before taking. The pill is small, the same size as a 10mg valium. It is yellow with 445 on one side, on the other it is scored and says eth. Please let me know what kind of pill this is. Thank-you. ## ETH445 is not Percocet, it does not contain Acetaminophen, this pill only contain...

I am taking oxycodo-APAP 10-325 ,a generic for Percocet. It is an oval shape withM523 on one side and 10/325 on the other. My Dr. said I could split the pill if it is too strong. But there is no score line. Can or should this pill be spit to receive half the dosage? ## The best advice I can give is to listen to what your doctor said. From personal experience when there was no score line on a pill I would still cut in half if it was too strong and simply take half the dose. I don't think you should worry if your doctor gave you the ok to do so. After splitting the pill in half, just be sure to follow your doctors orders on when to take the pill every so many hours.

ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

Generic Percocet is weak, and having trouble finding brand, I'm a BK amputee. Over 20 yrs with severe nerve bundles on and off meds depending on my situation. Only prescribed 60 10mg/ 325 a month and not a day sooner. I understand the need to not to be over medicated very well. I am now left in pain often since there are days where only taking two pills daily is ridiculous. In my line of work I stand for 3+ hrs. at a time. I have had Percocet 30 mg w/ no APAP . Which I harder find and tougher to get prescribed, we are talking about quality of life and staying in the work force so I can pay my healthcare in the first place. Generics leave me taking more pills a day with worse results which damages liver no matter the amount. And Brand Percocet is not covered by co-pay. Do I find a Dr...

The pills only have L 484 one them. It seems to not work well. My bp is staying up with pain. Do I have a bad drug? ## Hi Lynn, it's normal 4 someone's BP to rise if they r in pain. It's happened 2 me and other people I know. How long have u been on the medication? I would call the Doctor and let he/she know that it's not helping. And, u can also mention your BP. ## Hello, Lynn! How are you doing? I am very sorry that you're in pain. However, I think the issue is likely due to the fact that these tablets do not contain any Oxycodone, at all. These are nothing more than a generic Extra Strength Tylenol that's available over the counter. They contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and drowsiness. Who told you they were Percocet?...

How do I get off dependency from this drug.? I take 2 tablets a day. ## can oxycodone apap trigger CHF is I have codine allergy? ## Paolo, have you tried asking your doctor for help with stopping this medication? They should be able to help you taper off, which can be effective as long as you haven't been abusing it and/or taking extremely high doses. They do have a new effective addiction treatment using Suboxone, an opiate containing the active ingredient Buprenoprhine, which has enabled many people to be completely drug free, but it is only used for those suffering from severe addiction, not for those who have only been taking a medication as prescribed. You can read more about it here: ## Oxycodone/APAP (Acetaminophen) is a generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic pain reliever....

I would like to know what apap means? What does 10 mean and 325 mean? I know it means amounts of drug but what drug, and what amount? The tab has 106 on it. I think made by Mylan. thank you. ## APAP is tylenol. The oxycodone amount is first, so 10mg oxycodone 325mg tylenol. Hope that helps. ## And damouthy1 is correct. APAP is just medical speak for Acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol) and the tablets contain 325mgs of it and 10mgs of the narcotic Oxycodone, this is a generic for Percocet. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and a degenerative disc, and a pinched nerve. Was prescribed this generic percocet 5/325 coupled with Diazepam 5mg. I have been used to Norco 10/325 for a while. Also some much stronger stuff I would rather not disclose. Concerning my dependency and pain level (usually at least a 5, 8.5 or 9 when it's bad) is this enough or am I just gonna OD on APAP to get any effect? Thank you ## The only way to get an answer is by actually trying the medication. No one can know, ahead of time, if it will help you, or how much it will help, if it does. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipatio...

Is the nickname for U17 known also as a substitute for Percocets or is it's nickname known as substitute for Roxycet. Are there any variances ## They actually aren't nicknames, there are brand names and generic names. The brand name is a trade name given by the original manufacturer of a medication, and the generic name is the list of the actual ingredients. The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) and the generic name for Roxicet would just be Oxycodone, so yes, they are different. The tablet with the U17 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of APAP (Acetaminophen), so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may caus...

After very careful consideration and research, I made the decision with my dentist to have a total dental extraction on June 5 2013 and have 4 surgical steel implants inserted in the top into my mandible and 4 inserted into my jaw and temporary dentures screwed into until the healing was done and then go through 5 session of having the temporary dentures removed, molds of the "perfect" dentures made and finally permanent dentures inserted. On June 9th, 2013 I got the sinus infection from hell. I called the dentist and he prescribed an antibiotic. At the time of the extraction he prescribed oxycodo-apap 10-325 tab (mallinckro) a generic for Percocet 10-325 tab. I actually have had very little pain in the area of the extraction (the gums) and from the implants or dentures. The pai...

Also, Is Tramadol the only way to get off this on my own? I hate taking it and have cut dose down over last year very difficult to do. ## do u think hydrocodone 5/325mg is right to be taken witht the patient with AlS? ## Have you tried or heard of Suboxone?
