I have been taking sprintec for three years, and mono linyah for one month and then quit it all. Now my period is late for three weeks. According to the home pregnancy test I am not pregnant. Is that a side effect of taking birth control for a long time for the period to be late? ## To my understanding, Sprintec (and most oral contraceptives for that matter) can cause irregular and/or missed periods as a general side effect; due to fluctuations in your hormone levels. So I don't think it's anything to be overly concerned about. Especially if you recently stopped taking it in an abrupt manner after 3 years. It may just take some time before your hormones begin to level out. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Sprintec Details I hope this info helps!

What has been adult reactions and experiences who take Adderall? ## My work's fun, not the drug. I'm not really liking this prescription. ## I personally have suffered from severe ADHD since i was a child.. they had tried me on many different medications for it, which hadn't helped. However Adderall is by far the best medication that I have taken. My attention span has expanded, I am able to perform the tasks that I need to do without getting sidetracked and whatnot. Especially at work and school. Granted if you take it late in the day persay after 6:30-7ish at night, you'll have a really hard time falling asleep at night. It is deffinately an upper, but it does do wonders for many people. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about it, they know more than what anyone else w...

I have been taking Loestrine Fe for over 2 years and have had spotting about every few months. A few days ago I had a very strong flowing period, which concerned me because I am not supposed to have any periods anymore. Also when I have a bowel movement I have blood in it. It doesn't hurt but it has happened three times now. Why is this happening? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Anyone taking oral contraceptives, even a woman who's past menopause, may have periods, due to the hormones in them. Thus, whoever told you that was wrong. The estrogen in them causes the tissues to built up on the uterine wall and the progesterone is what stabilizes them, once it falls off, you experience your period. Thus, even if someone were...

I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal? ## Yes, it can be. These do contain hormones, to prevent pregnancy and they can affect different people in different ways. Some women will menstruate regularly and some won't. There is really no harm in skipping, but if you are concerned about it, you should consult your doctor. Many women use their birth control to skip their menstrual cycle, especially for important events, such as marriage or vacations. Have you contacted your doctor? ## i started taking lo loestrin fe the first day of my last period and during the 3rd week i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. i had been having breakthough bleeding. my body doesn't produce estrogen, resulting in ovarian failure at a young age. i now have to take estrogen (birth control) daily for the rest of my life. i recently went to my doctor and he was concerned that i still have acne, ran a bunch of blood tests, and perscribed me dexamethasone. he said one of my hormone levels is high and this drug should balance it. i've been reading about it and i don't see a connection, only pretty disturbing side effects. i realize i am in an extremely rare situation, but does anyone know anything about this drug that may help me? has anyone had any experience with it? i don't feel comfortable taking it just yet.

I have been on lo lo estrin for over a year. I usually don't have periods but every now and then I get one. I had a short one about two weeks ago and today I seem to have started again. no missed pills. same time every day. advice? is this normal? ## Hello, Jordyn! How are you? That can happen, usually due to a fluctuation in your natural hormones in conjunction with the ones in the oral contraceptives, however, it would be best to have it checked out to be sure. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight changes and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

Last month, I started taking Lo Loestrin FE for perimenopause symptoms. I am 47 years old, My cycles were irregular, messy and for the last few years I have been depressed (off and on), fatigued, low libido, vaginal dryness, crampy, irritable, etc. (you know the drill :) . So, finally, I asked for a low dose combination pill to try and help. So far, the only relief is that my bleeding is 100% better - everything else is a huge mess. Have any of you experienced perimenopausal RELIEF using LoLoestrin? ## Hi Kim, I am on loestrin fe also for persistent bleeding, which it did help with but months later I developed depression and hot flashes and was also put on natural Estradiol which helped tremendously with all. Recently however I missed a loestrin fe and had a few days run of hot flashes,...

Hi. I just took the last brown pill in my second pack of Lo Loestrin Fe. I have not bled at all yet. On the first pack I had bad cramping on the last white pill and then spotted on the first brown. Such light spotting that I only needed a panty liner for 2 days. Is this normal? Should I be concerned about pregnancy? I've never missed a pill and started the first pack when I was supposed to start the new pack of my old birth control, Yasmin. I am switching back. This pill is making me insane with worry. ## yes, its very normal. light spotting on lo lo estrin or lo estrin is what a lot of people experience. ## Gia's answer is correct. Learn more Topzole details here. Side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness and stomach pain. No, it is not known to be habit forming and if you are taking it over the counter, rather than by doctor's prescription, it should only be taken for a period of 2 weeks. I have been taking the pill for 6 months and have noticed my period is better during certain months, but crazy the following month. I have also not had a normal color. Often been brown and clotty. Does this pill change the color and delay? I have been getting my period on days that are not the sugar pill. Also been receiving PMS symptoms for up to two week straight before bleeding. If my period is not syncing with the pill cycle, is it still working correctly? ## Hello, Keia! How are you? As to the color, brown blood is old blood, that blood that has been sitting in your uterus from your last period that wasn't expelled. It is normal and nothing to worry about. I'm going to Harrisburg on vacation... I have a script from NJ for Percocet. When I fill it, will it show in the NJ PMP? I already found a pharmacy that will fill it out of state, but in PA they don't have a PMP in place yet. So does that mean they won't report it to NJ? PA is not part of the PMP Interconnect that shares info across a national database ## They all share information, now. Be it through a regular datbase, or via other electronic means, it is all recorded, and shared, especially when it involves controlled substances, such as an opiate. The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?
